Ferret and small pet friendly!
I love this! I actually got it for my ferrets and it is so much better than the normal cages for ferrets with all the levels. I had one of those at first (Kaytee ferret cage) and they kept pooping on all the levels and it was soooooo hard to take apart, clean and then put back together. With this it's so much easier they only go potty in their potties now that I put all the way on the left side. There's a corner potty in both corners and I got a reusable puppy training pad to put underneath, that covers the whole section to clean off their feets just in case. On the right side I attached one of their furry beds to the bottome like carpet and that way they can't move it around and hung a couple of beds. In the top house part I put their food, another puppy training pad (this ones just for comfort) and a couple other beds that don't hang or attach to anything (it's wood so you can't attach anything to it unless you attach it to the door). The water bottle it hung on the outside of the bottom right with the hanging beds. They love it! There is enough room for them to run around and play on the bottom. Not like a huge amount but definitely better than a normal ferret cage. Then they have the top house where it's dark and then don't have to be disturbed by lights or anything if they don't want to. Each section has a tray that you can pull out to clean. Before they were potty trained with corner potties I used small pet bedding and it got everywhere.. outside the cage and they would end up dragging it everywhere inside. It was a mess to clean. The poop would get on the wood and in the open holes of the cage and that was very hard to clean. It's also painted so if you clean with vinegar or even just scrub it and get it wet the paint comes off. Putting a potty in both corners really helped. Now I use the bedding in the potties and they only go in them! Ferrets don't want to use the bathroom everywhere, they usually make one spot their bathroom. If you don't keep it clean they will start using other spots. Now with a potty in each corner and the training pad it's easier than ever to clean! I just take out the potties, empty them, wash them, wash the training pad if it gets dirty or once every week, and vacuum any food crumbs or fuzzies left on the other two levels. Soooooo easy and it looks better in our home almost like a piece of furniture. The door on each section is also super convenient.

Everything as expected, great for my litter-trained rabbit!
I've had this hutch for 5 months now. Please see the pictures attached. For my purposes, it is wonderful. I have a litter-trained 4lb mini Rex buck. He has plenty of space and I believe the hutch would fit a bigger rabbit as well.It shipped quickly, there were no damaged pieces, and it was fairly easy to put together. The wood is not as sturdy as it could be but with a little care I was able to put it together without any cracking, and it has held up nicely since. The locks are a bit loose but I haven’t had trouble with them unlocking on their own. The trays fit well and are convenient to have. I cut mats and put magnets in the corners so they stay in place. It looks a little nicer than the metal floors and must be nicer on the rabbits feet. My hutch is next to the window where it gets a lot of natural light, but I think of it was not it would be very dark and may require additional lighting. If you are looking for a cute, reasonably-sized indoor hutch for a litter-trained animal, I would highly recommend this hutch.

Adorable but wont hold up for large breed
UpdateWe've had this dwelling for over 6 months now. Our rabbit broke the ladder (the rabbit is huge) but it doesn't bother him, he gets up and down just by hopping. It's easy to clean and that makes everyone happy. Very solid purchase. It looks very nice in our carport. We are very happy.---------------Cute and comfortable. Not for Flemish Giant rabbits.Love this little house. We don't have room in the house so we put this in our carport for our outdoors rabbit- he loves it. Only issue we had is that after about 5 months he broke the ladder only because he's huge. But no problem because he just jumps up to the second floor.Highly recommended for a smaller breed or Guinea pig.

Stylish Bun Mansion
Assembled this by myself with no problem, have had our rabbit living in it indoors since the spring. She has a penned area attached so she can run around & we moved the litter box out of the cage part because urine was getting on the wood which is no good and was a pain to clean! But everything is holding up great. So, as long as you take steps to prevent your bunny from peeing on the wood of this cage, it should last a very long time.

HUTCH CAUSES CANCER, BIRTH DEFECTS, OR OTHER REPRODUCTIVE HARM?
I received my hutch today and after it was built, I looked underneath the tray to find this sticker that says, "Prop65 Warning: This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause CANCER. This product contains a chemical Known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm."I am so scared and confused about this potentially giving my bunny cancer or other issues. In fact, I am concerned that it might give me and my family and other pets cancer, etc. as well! Isn't this a warner that should be explicitly stated in the description BEFORE we purchase it? This is crazy, I can't even send it back because I paid someone to put it together with a drill (which I can't un-drill) and he disposed the box when he left.EDIT:So I am *editing* this post because I received a message from the seller stating that this doesn't mean it would cause cancer and that this sign is on pretty much everything made in California, which I confirmed from various internet searches. But it is still worrisome and I am not sure what to do with it at this point. However, the hutch is actually beautiful, enough room for my 1 Holland Lop to roam without feeling too restricted, and excellent for the price point. Building it wasn't too bad, need 2 people and a drill - it should take about 45 minutes to an hour. The 2 drawbacks are that the interior is actually only 14 inches wide, I was hoping for the full 18 inches in width which does make a difference when we are talking about bunny sizes. The other drawback is that the wood isn't of the best material and it had some chips and dings, not terrible though. I am giving it 3 stars for the value and the look.
