Just the shampoo I was looking for!
This is an amazing shampoo! My hair is thin and fine, and my scalp has been excessively oily lately. I wanted to try a shampoo with apple cider vinegar to complement my use of a tea tree/peppermint shampoo. Since I trust the Aveeno brand, I was anxious to see how it would work, and it's fabulous! It cleanses without overdrying my hair strands, and my scalp feels healthier, just after one use! And it smells like autumn, such a pleasant fragrance. Highly recommend!

Love Averno
I love Aveeno lotions so I decided to give this a try. I bought the shampoo and conditioner. I'm one of those people that have many many bottles of shampoo and I actually have a big closet in the bathroom with 2 shelves just for my shampoos. I love what this does to my hair. It lathers up thick and is easy to rinse. The scent is light but fresh. My hair feels clean and soft. I don't have issues with my hair but it's long and thick so I need products that clean/clarify and detangle. It does not weigh my hair down like most conditioners. The shampoo gives a beautiful clean, gentle but effective. I can go about 3 or 4 days in between shampoos now. The Aveeno name is quality and now I can say it's true for their hair products along with their lotions. It tinses clean and quickly so there's no residue left in the hair, no greasiness, no weighing down, nothing but clean hair. I bought my 2nd set tonight. My husband always tells me to clean out the closet because he's never seen that many shampoos. Now that I discovered this, I will be cutting down in buying other propane wasting money. Btw, I donate my mostly full bottles to a homeless facility that is very happy to get them.

CLEANS and CLARIFIES your HAIR without SCALP DRYING Sulfates!
I wanted a shampoo that doesn't contain PHTHALATES.They are a series of widely used chemicals that are demonstrated to be endocrine disruptors and are detrimental to human health. They've been associated with reduced testosterone production in men.I wanted a shampoo that doesn't have SULFATES to avoid extra scalp drying from frequent usage. I wanted a shampoo that doesn't contain PARABENS, a mild estrogen disruptor with concerning environmental effects. The first ingredient in this product is Oatmeal, it's demonstrated to be soothing when used topically on skin. I have found that to be true when using Aveeno oatmeal based shaving cream on my beard.I like that this product contains apple cider vinegar but it is not stated to contain Vinegars live MOTHER. It provides stronger antimicrobial action, it probably doesn't contain it.So without all these unwanted chemicals does it work?I found it removes unwanted oiliness from my hair, but only when used a couple times a week at most. This minimizes an unwanted dry scalp, and the reactive overproduction of oil, thats commonly produced by skin, in its effort to compensate for the unnatural drying effect, when using ACV too frequently. To PROACTIVELY compensate for this drying effect, I ADD 14 drops of TEA TREE OIL , and 2 teaspoons of additional ORGANIC ACV that contains its MOTHER'S live bacteria, to the STOCK Aveeno ACV shampoo. The TEA TREE oil moisturizes the scalp, helping to offset the undesirable scalp and hair drying effects caused by the extra ACV. The added organic ACV w/MOTHER provides enhanced hair clarification, and provides antimicrobial topical skin benefits. They are BOTH anti-inflammatory!After washing using the custom ENHANCED ACV shampoo. I have experienced good results by using a small application of Acure orange and watermelon conditioner.I also use Acure orange and watermelon shampoo All other days, because it has a similar, bad chemical free formula. I have found Acure shampoo is lightly naturally scented, gentle, and doesn't dry out my scalp. It can be used daily without causing unwanted scalp irritation.Aveeno ACV produces very little to no lather unless you rinse and repeat, but it's still minimal. Acure shampoo shares this same characteristic. It's probably a byproduct of the same missing chemicals not used in both products. After using my MODIFIED Aveeno ACV twice a week, and Acure Orange & Watermelon shampoo all the other days, and both always followed with just a little bit of Acure orange and watermelon conditioner everyday for a year, It leaves my hair manageable, soft and shiny for a couple of days. Additionally my scalp condition has improved with less irritation and minimal dandruff. This combination works for me! Because everyone's HAIR, SKIN and ENVIRONMENT are SO DIFFERENT, your results WILL vary. I recommend giving these products a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the results. It potentially may work for you as well!

best shampoo for oily hair
this is the best shampoo i’ve ever used. i have struggled with greasy hair for the longest time, and ive jumped from one brand to the next for something that ACTUALLY cleans my hair, and this does just that. i live in a very warm and humid environment, so my oily hair type is pretty hard to get rid of down here. this shampoo did it. it is a godsend. smells good, not super strong but there is a nice lingering scent. it’s super effective and i can feel my hair getting cleaner and less oily after immediate use. it’s just the best shampoo i’ve ever tried. my hair isn’t just soft after, but truly clean. it’s great

Great for oily hair or build-up
I have what you might call grease-prone hair. I also have hard water, so it's easy for residue to build-up in my hair. Not a great combination. I was researching products that would be helpful for both of those things, and I came across this Aveeno Apple Cider Vinegar Clarifying Shampoo. I was quite hesitant, since apple cider vinegar is one of my least favorite scents. Actually, vinegar of any kind makes me start to gag. But my hair was giving me a particularly hard time, and I was just desperate enough to give this a try. I figured I could at least hold my breath while using it. When I received the product I decided to take a tentative sniff first, just so I knew what I would be dealing with. I was definitely hit with the scent of apples, but the tangy vinegar notes didn't follow it. I don't know how they managed that, but I am grateful. It's the sweet without the sour. I am also quite pleased with how the shampoo works. You don't need a lot of it, and it works up into a beautiful lather. It rinses well, and leaves my hair feeling clean and soft. I've heard people say you shouldn't use it too often because it will strip your hair, but I've used it multiple days a week in a row and haven't noticed any issues with that as of yet. I don't think it leaves my hair dry or frizzy at all. I do still have to wash my hair daily, but I don't think there will ever be a product that will change that. This may be a niche note, but I do notice that wasps seem to love the scent this shampoo leaves behind. If I know I'm going to be spending a lot of time outside that day, I will use a different product because I don't want them diving into my head. Just thought I'd mention it.
