Solid calculator for students — does the job without dramaAs an engineering student, the Casio fx-991MS has been a lifesaver for me. It covers all the essential functions — complex numbers, matrices, integration, stats, etc. — without going overboard. The button feedback is decent, the display is clear (dual-line is a plus), and it runs on both solar + battery, so you never get stuck during an exam.It's not flashy like the fx-991EX, but it’s reliable and familiar. And honestly, sometimes that’s all you need. It’s accepted in most Indian exams (JEE, GATE, etc.), which is a big win.Only downside? No high-resolution display and feels a bit "2000s retro" — but that’s part of the charm.TL;DR: Great value, trusted brand, exam-ready — go for it if you don’t need the fancy features of the newer models.
