Warne is the way to go
I use these Warne rings on almost all of my scopes now with few exceptions. Both the fixed and the "QD" types. They are the most consistent rings that I have ever tried. You don't have to lap them. They hold, and they have always returned to practically "perfect" zero when removed and reattached to the host firearm. They are also stupid-easy to install, but you still need to read and understand the instructions which are included, and always use proper torque values on the mounting screws (I use a FAT wrench when tightening the screws). Sure, I can do that by "feel" too but I still like to have the torque wrench around just to make sure! (I usually do around 15 in-lbs and put a dab of blue locktite on the threads). Can you get "cheaper" scope rings? Absolutely. But you will wind up spending more after buying the aforementioned "cheaper" junk and then trashing the junk to buy Warne. Buy once, cry once. YES, they are THAT GOOD. Other than the Burris Signature Zee rings, I am hard-pressed to think of another brand of ordinary scope rings that I would absolutely recommend. Warne also makes some damn good scope bases as well. I'm telling you, they are the real deal. They ought to hire me as a spokesperson/paid endorser, LOL.

Fantastic rings
I love these rings. This was my first time trying this brand and style of rings so I approached it skeptically. First off, NO lapping or alignment needed. Awesome. Factor in a rock solid design and a great price point, and I may have found my go-to brand. Made in the USA with torque specs included for further ease of install. Install really was not that challenging and I'm so glad I can "set it and forget it." These rings were exactly what I needed. I threw these on a Savage Mark II BTVS .22lr and they work amazingly. Definitely overkill, but I know my zero will never go off. These low rings with an EGW 0 MOA base and a Nikon 4-12X40 scope mounted perfectly to my rifle. I will be getting more of these for my other scoped rifle builds in the future.

Great scope mounts
I got these to mount my new Leupold scope. I checked a variety brands that fit a weaver mount and I ended up going with these. Due to the top and bottom closure it holds the scope snug without pinching it at any odd spots. It looks like Warne makes these scope mounts as one piece and then cuts them in half. They are a nice solid metal and have a great finish on them. There are no burrs or markings on them. I would recommend these to anyone who wants a set of good rings at a great price point with amazing quality. If I ever need more scope mounts in the future I will be buying Warne for sure.

Strong and solid
These are rock solid and very strong. I took back one star because tightening the ring screws caused the scope to rotate slightly out of vertical alignment. I had to "preload" the scope in the opposite direction in order to get the reticle correctly aligned with the bore when the screws were correctly torqued.

Pita for install
Rings are good and solid. First time buying split rings, so install was difficult. 1 inch rings were super simple to get tightened down nicely after i got them on. When you take the 4 screws out, the recoil lug just drops. I hear guys say they use greas to keep the lug in, but i just installed at a 90 degree angle. Used these for a burris scope on a 10/22 and so far, so good. Would prefer the more expensive warne rings next time, install is easier

These are great rings
I have been using Warner rings for a few years . If installed correctly , your scope will be solid . I will not buy anything else for my big bore revolvers ..

They may not be the very best you can buy--I know you can buy more expensive ...
I've used these Warne fixed permanent attach rings on close to 20 rilfes along with the Warne mounts. I have also used the quick detach rings as well. I've use a variety of different heights. I will never put anything but a Warne mount or ring on a weapon. They may not be the very best you can buy--I know you can buy more expensive ones. I'm certainly not an expert, however, I can tell you that after years of experience with Warne products they have never let me down. If you have an issue there customer service it first class and they will take care of you. Here's what I've learned from experience. Watch the torque and if possible use a torque wrench--very worthwhile investment. Follow the torque specs in the directions. I think Warne use 25 ft. pounds for rings and mounts. Reduce the torque to perhaps 20 for mounting aluminum receivers with scope rails or mounts. This note will save you:If using the Warne Quick detach ring always mount the levers on the left side--recoil will keep the levers tight instead of potentially loosening them.Always mount the rings so that if there is any slop where ring meets rail--PUSH THE RING TO THE FRONT BEFORE TIGHTENING. This sounds counter-intuitive but the recoil will throw the rings foward--NOT BACKWARD, which is what I first thought.Enjoy, I don't think you can buy a better ring or mount. Very happy after many years of use on a lot of different weapons.

Top quality and great price
These rings grip like a vise. I have bought several sets of these and they are my favorite. Low price and high quality are rare. These rings do not disappoint.
