The total package: great flavour, great choices, palpable passion for coffee crafting, and what seems very genuine interest in the customer. I was quite impressed by not only my first cup of their coffee but also the beautiful “about us” letter accompanying the order.I was delighted to learn that Seven Beans has a partnership with an Italian roastmaster, apparently the only Indian coffee company with an international partnership. The Italians really know how to make coffee into an amazing experience. Bravissimo, Seven Beans!The roast I got in my first order was Urja, but I will soon try other offerings.

I am the kind of person people sometimes call a 'coffee snob' - I only drink certain kinds of coffee grown at a certain elevation roasted to a certain darkness, etc. I didn't read that the Urja contained a blend of 30% Robusta and 70% Arabica when placing the order when buying - it was one of the frantic 'I'm running out of coffee' purchases made late at night; so when I found out, I wrote to the seller - disappointed - that it contains Robusta. They promptly (I mean within minutes) replied and offered a refund while imploring me to try the coffee. I did and wasn't disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this for most drinks other than milk based - but for those, this blend shines - especially if you like to show off your amaetur latte artist skills!

Great strong taste without being too powerful and still smooth and balanced . I use it to make ice coffee when I ever I feel homesick (I'm from coffee-addicted America, currently living in India) and it came out excellent. I've tried the CCD coffee and it definitely does not compare to this. This coffee even beats Starbucks coffee, hands down. If your a foreigner living in India desperate for some good coffee (or an Indian looking for good coffee), definitely give this a try!

I wouldn't reject the coffee if offered but will not voluntarily order it. No distinctive smell or taste. Better with milk, which in my view is a red flag. It also needs a higher amount of coffee to make a strong cup.

This is an amazing full bodied coffee with great aroma and flavour. My house lingers in a wonderful coffee aroma in the morning. I use this in a French press and the tasting notes are just PERFECT.I am a coffee connosiuer and can say with reasonable confidence that this is high quality Arabica beans with zero chicory adulteration.Also the seller takes special care to ship out the most recent batch. Thank you for such a lovely coffee.

Perfect 'Good Morning' cuppa. This coffee has the unique combination of strength, smoothness, body, aroma, taste and color, all in good measure. I tried it brewing in the traditional South Indian filter and added milk and sugar. Addictive for sure. Little pricey, but a good indulgence to start a great day.

The taste is general and generally good, though not special. Would buy different beans for this price with more subtle taste. If you like plain, slight bitter coffee, this is for you.

Received my Urja whole bean coffee very quickly... and I gotta say I was impressed when I had my morning cup of coffee this morning. I usually grind my coffee beans myself and make the coffee with a French press. I make every coffee I buy the exact same way so I can judge it fairly. The coffee is unlikely what I have tried previously. It passed with flying colours! Not sure what to expect a coffee from India but I was pleasantly surprised. This medium roast coffee has a very nice chocolate note that's quite complimentary to any sweet treat that you may be having at the time. ;) I appreciate the single origin nature - now I know what to expect from my next cup of Indian coffee. I also appreciate that I'm buying directly from the source.

Love it! I never used my coffee maker at home before. Seven beans 'Urja' has changed that. Smells great; the taste lightens up my mood and stays on the palate without overpowering it. Better than going to Starbucks, Peets or Dunkin. Great Buy!

Roast is a little lighter than I expected, but I like this coffee and will be keeping on my subscriptions list. I used it in my french press and it worked well, the grind was not overly fine. Would probably be great in a regular coffee pot as well. I received earlier that expected delivery.

This coffee is delicious with a wonderful rich flavor! The medium blend was perfect for me. I love the fact that this company has a Roast Master-- I think it really makes a difference! Would definitely recommend this to anyone and will definitely be ordering again!!

Delicious and Smooth. I'm not a regular coffee drinker but with this one I was able to drink it without copious amounts of milk and sugar. I enjoyed, I use this as my treat to myself before work.
