Works perfectly for Mevo Start Camera and Google Chromecast with Google TV
Outstanding value. This device connected at 1 Mbps and provided 5 volt power and ethernet to either a Chromecast or a Mevo Start Camera. Both devices worked perfectly. The equivalent Mevo product costs $199.The device also works without POE input. If I connect it to my phone or other device that can provide USB-C power, it works perfectly as a gigabit ethernet adapter, drawing power from the phone or computer.Very good build quality. Contrary to another review of this product, I found the output IS isolated. At least with my POE switch there was only a millivolt reading between the USB-C connector and ground in the house.

Performs its job perfectly, space efficient
Arrived promptly, in use as a POE converter for doorbell camera that previously operated wirelessly (UniFi G4 Pro). Now 100% reliable without WiFi dropouts.

Just one flaw
I like this device, and it works very well. However, one small thing that bothers me is the thickness of the cable for the USB-C connection. The cable is too thick for the arrangement I wanted to use my iPad in.I would prefer they either use a thinner cable, or better yet, rather than the USB-C cable, just having asocket to connect my own USB-C cable to. The wall-mount frame I have for my iPad has provisionsfor the cable/usb-c that comes with the iPad, which is much thinner cable than what is provided withthis PoE injector. So, while the cable provided with my iPad fits into the frame, the cable on the ethernet injector does not fit in the frame.*********Update***********I am having to send back this device because the metal USB-C connection is almost on the verge ofsnapping off from the cable. It is very loose and wobbly, not to mention that I cannot get anyinternet with it, and even though I had it connected to a PoE port on my switch, it would not chargethe batteries on either my iPhone or iPad.Additionally, upon corresponding with someone at the manufacturer, she told me this deviceoffers very low power and may likely not even charge the battery on my devices. She did not haveany explanation as to why I wasn't getting internet on my iPad when connected to this device.*************Updated review**************So, I sent this one back and purchased the somewhat more expensive 23watt PoE to USB-C.It does work. Charges my iPad and provides internet connectivity. My only peeve with this device is that if you want both charging and internet, it's necessaryto use the provided cable. I can physically connect the cable that came with my iPad, butit won't carry an internet connection. So, the cable that came with this PoE is absolutelynecessary if you want both charging and internet capability. It is good quality, and I prefer thetypical status light on the 23 watt over the simple LED of the less expensive model. So, if you want both internet and simultaneous charging, go with the $59 (23 watt) version.

Provides power and ethernet to Samsung Galaxy Tab A8
This adapter works well to charge a Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 and provide a hard wired Ethernet connection for a wall mounted solution. The converter is small enough to fit reasonably well in the wall behind the mount. While it is not fast charging the tablet it is fast enough to keep the tablet powered 24/7.

Works great with the UniFi Protect G4 Doorbell Pro
Bought this to use with the UniFi G4 Doorbell Pro - and it totally does the job. Provides power and ethernet to the doorbell, same as the official UniFi PoE adapter that's always out of stock. Wish the cable was a little longer, but works fine in my application.

Works but will not work for Echo Hub
This devices works but it will not work for Echo Hub. Read that POE injector and this usb c device would do the trick but it didn’t. For Echo Hub what worked was using Male/Female USB Breakout Board to 4 Pin Screw Terminal Block Connector. I extended the wire between these terminals and used the Echo Hub white cord(usb c). This allowed me to run the extension from the ceiling to the wall mount location. You need to connect all 4 terminals to the extension wire and the Echo hub will power up fine. If you connect only the power terminal on the breakout terminal block, you will get an insufficient power sign on Echo Hub
