Best travel food for AIP (that'd be the lamb one)/paleo
You can put one in a purse pocket, forget about it for weeks, and revive yourself in a pinch. Yet it's meat. Soft, preservative-free,with some veggies & flavor. Largely made road-tripping bearable!

Good but too sweet
Good quality and flavor but too sweet. They need to not add dates.

Delicious food that feels good in my body!
(My only complaint is that these are not sold directly by Amazon, so they are not SNAP/EBT eligible. That would be FANTASTIC!). I ordered several variety packs: soups, bars, and meals. I've tried the soup and the Apple-Pork meat and veggie bar. Meat + veggies/fruit=diabetic/hypoglycemic + Paleo HEAVEN. The bone-broth based soup tasted fabulous & I could swear I caught my stomach humming--deep feeling of vitality. Even the dehydrated ground beef and vegetables reconstituted satisfyingly (not, obviously, as good as fresh, but shelf-stable and even good for camping/backpacking!). And the bar was just the right balance of savory and sweet, and also felt "clean"/crisp and deeply nourishing in my body. Yes, a little pricey (portion sizes could be a tad larger?), but well worth the cost for nourishing, healthy, and very tasty goodness in light, sit-on-shelf-untill-needed tiny but nutrition-packed packages. I highly recommend the products from this company.

Tastes great. Less filling. High price.
They're delicious. A better option than conventional protein bars. But my dog gets bigger snacks for being a good boy than these little bars. 1 oz. of product. This is why nobody can ever afford to eat healthy in the real world.

Delicious & healthy
I love Wild Zora dried meat. It's delicious and healthful, packed with honest-to-goodness, real food. It's a staple go-to for me.

Awful <and> expensive.
Trail food has come a long way in the past 20 years, largely because all the preppers have stockpiled so much they've created artificial demand that has enabled new players to enter the market. Zora is one of those, and as a matter of course I try pretty much everything that comes out, as I do a couple long-distance backpacking trips a year and like food that doesn't suck. So I bought Zora's sampler pack and away I went into Colorado's Collegiate Wilderness.I was immediately concerned that the packaging was a bit like those old CDs where the packing was something like five times what was necessary. The meat bars themselves are only a couple inches square. Def a "snack" rather than "food".The bars are NOT jerky. They are pureed meat/stuff pressed into a squat rectangle, giving them the consistency of baby food that's been left out in the sun to congeal a little. And the flavor? Well, you COULD identify that it was probably meat at one point, but the spice/non-meat add-ons just didn't work. Imagine if you bought those cheap gas-station beef jerkys, pureed them in a blender, added whatever loose veggies you had the fridge, slopped them out on the counter to dry overnight, and cut them into little rectangles. Oh yeah, and you don't so much begin with "meat" as "ass".Hard pass. The first bite was so bad I almost threw them all out then and there. I committed to trying at least one bite of each of the seven flavors but only got thru four. I pawned the rest off on a poor sap I passed on the trail for a handful of sesame sticks. (I gave the dude an incorrect name should he try to hunt me down later.)

A suprising quality product
What I had assumed to be another jerky bar, but with what we first worlders would call a gamey taste actually exceeded my expectations and changed my perceptions of the product. The mutton itself is not hard, like you would find in some other jerky bars, but soft and pliable. But its not completely mush, as the addition of the dried fruit in the mix gives it some body and chew. Overall the texture has two distinct feels, and is pleasing to the palate. The lamb is distinctly lamb, but it does not have an overt gamy taste, yet is distinct from other beef based bars. The most objectionable part of the bar is the Rosemary. Not as a flavoring, of course, as the rosemary offers a very floral pop in comparison to the heaviness of the other ingredients. No, the objection comes to the size of the spice, where you may be digging a chunk of conifer out of your molars after you have devoured the bar.And although the portion size may seem small, after consumption the hearty nature of the ingredients is actually quite satisfying. With the miniscule weight involved, this is a treat I would gladly take hiking.

Surprisingly Delicious!
I’m type one diabetic, and it is difficult for me to find snacks that fit in my diet. I tried these on a whim, and they are surprisingly delicious! Great texture, good flavor, with a little bit of zing to them. I will definitely buy again.
