Great Bang for Buck
I like it, might not b the best sub on the market, but for the price, I don't think there's a better 1 out there. Could b wrong, just my opinion

Not my cup of tea..
Good for movies but not so much for music. Doesn't blend well with music and too slow to keep up. Also didn't like that the amp gets pretty warm just for being in idle. Gets even warmer while in use. I sent mine back. I'll look elsewhere.

All confidence in osd lost
Nope. - 5 stars. All confidence in the current osd qc and customer service has been lost. I returned a defective unit only to be charged shipping and accused of a false defect claim. I had high expectations for it but it malfunctioned after a few movies. The performance is impressive but having an auto power on failure after a few hours of accumulated use dissolved any confidence of longevity. I imagine it was unloaded on a bench, jacked into a test source, cycled and deemed fully functional. Ready to roll the dice and get mine? At best you'll be slandered and charged $70 for return shipping. Good Riddance from a long-time consumer!

An absolute sleeper.
I’ve had this FS-12 for 6 months now and I couldn’t be happier. I currently use a Dayton audio DSP-LF to for additional control. As you can see this sub plays flat down to about 18hz. It was incredibly easy to set up and blend with the rest of my home theater. The bass is clean not boomy. I regularly listen at levels cresting 105db and there are no ugly cracks or chuffing from the port. I can’t believe this thing isn’t more popular. I’ve had several subs before klipsch, Polk, paradigm, an old velodyne this is by far the best I’ve owned. You’d be hard pressed to find a better subwoofer under $600.

OSD Nero FS-12 is a great value
So I have had this sub in use for several days now. It is far superior to my older 12" down firing subwoofer. I'm confident that it was $300 well spent. Is it the equal of a similarly sized and appearing SVS PB-1000? I suspect not, but I really have no way of comparing. It's also not $800! I bought this elsewhere, but saw no other reviews for this particular model. If I could, I’d rate it 4.5 stars. One of the grill pegs was broken on arrival and they seem delicate.
