This was a great addition to our camera system that can work independently from the DVR even if you don’t have an available port. It works via WiFi and you only need a power source. The pan and tilt works nice. Talking through the camera is not great due to echo but otherwise the audio is good. The night vision camera is a great addition as well. The camera does not tilt down very low. But the fixed for that is to mount the camera upside down and the tilt feature will go much further. This will allow you to get a better view of a downward angle. Not a bad package for the price.

It records every time motion is detected instead of constantly recording everything. It captured motion across the street from my 2nd floor window, so it has pretty good range. The camera does not follow anything and only moves if you physically do so or from the app. The design works and allows for it to be sturdy and set in place without screwing it though that is also an option. The picture quality was very clear and it connected to the WiFi easily but the reason I gave it two stars was because the night vision did not work at all. It looked incredibly dark and I actually had to turn night vision off to see anything. Its not a good value for the money as it doesn’t do what its supposed to do.

I got this to keep an eye on my apartment while I am away for extended periods of time. The Lorex app works great; it allows you to operate the pan/tilt with your phone and setup the person detection of the camera. I had to set the sensitivity to maximum, otherwise it would not detect me when I was testing it. The source video is pretty good and the night mode is clear.

I bought one of these for $39. It didn’t work would not connect during setup. Returned it for replacement. That one would not connect. I have another one i bought 2 years ago from Lorex. It has worked fine nonstop for that time.

Very easy to set up/get started. Visuals are fairly clear. App is has straightforward functionality and is mostly easy to understand. Only complaints are that it can't tilt very far down when sat right side up, and connectivity became iffy when updates to the app were needed.
