Millennium Live Asparagus Bare Root Plants - 2yr Crowns - Can Not Ship to California (15 Asparagus Roots)

Vigorous and very alive. They look dead, but I soaked them for 24 hours and then planted. Within a week there was growth and now they are growing like crazy.

I purchased these asparagus roots right before unexpected freezing weather, so the asparagus roots arrived frozen. I contacted Amazon, who in-turn contacted the seller, and without hesitation, the seller sent me a new set of roots. These roots are nice and healthy. They are already sprouting asparagus, so I know that I will have a nice crop within a few years. I can’t wait to taste these. Also, the roots appear like they were well maintained, as the roots are plump, and able to retain moisture and they didn’t arrive with any rot on them.

I waited till I was able to plant these to write the review. I am a new gardener waiI and these plants made me feel like a pro. They are doing great with growth showing so quickly Looking forward to years of delicious asparagus!

I was impressed by the size, health and quantity of crowns received, more than I needed actually. Most were very large. Waiting for the last freeze before planting. I'll keep them in peat moss on the porch.

Got these plants as a gift for my mother. Most of them sprouted with only one dud which is a pretty good ratio. Keep in mind they take about 2 years before they become ready to harvest, so be patient!

All asparagus roots have sprouted. Looking forward to having a large crop of asparagus in the next couple years. Very satisfied with purchase.

Bare root plants arrived and don't look great. Planted them as soon as they arrived and hoping they live. So far after two weeks no growth has appeared (I dug one up to look).

This is the first negative I have written. I got my asparagus roots and they all had mold on it. But I went and plant them in case they would come up. Not one came up. I had bought some from Wal-Mart after these were plant. All my Walmart ones came up. None of these I bought from this place. I have written to them about the problem and no response. That is $20 lost.
