Handy and compact. Works well
This device is a good value for how it performs. Both external monitors performed in high resolution without any lag and the network and USB 3 ports performed admirably as well. People tripping on the price are, well, tripping. 4/5 because the cable is too short. Note that it does not include power supply.

Sorry, nothing to report!
Sadly, I wasn’t able to evaluate this promising technology product. I tried using it to run an extended monitor that I was already using on my laptop and it didn’t work. The Amazon product advertising indicated it would work on PC (Windows) laptops but the little pamphlet that came with it seemed to focus on Mac products only. I called tech support and after several attempts to determine compatibility with my laptop received the response that this hub didn’t work on Asus laptops (the kind I have). I hope someone else has better luck!

It's ok, but falls a little short
It seems to be a pretty nice unit. There are a couple of pretty big issues to me, especially for the price. First, the cord is way too short. I want to setup my laptop on a stand with another monitor and a separate keyboard. With the laptop raised up, the docking station hangs from the laptop. Once you start adding in devices and additional cords, that's a lot of weigh to hang off my c-port. Then it shows that it can handle 100W charger, but of course that is not included. For the price, I think it falls short, literally. I have an HDMI port on my laptop so since I am not trying to run 2 additional monitors, this does not gain me much more than any simple port replicator at half the price.

Hybrid Work Solution
The pandemic is over and many of us are being asked to go back to the office more frequently. My employer allows for a hybrid environment, meaning I can work form home some days, but in the office most days of the week. This is a nice balance, as I a believe in face time and being present in the office, but that’s a different discussion isn’t it?My dilemma has always been set up and tear down between home and office. Too many plugs, cords, USB, USBC, HDMI, lions, tigers and bears (oh my). This handy device allows me to plug mutliple inputs to or outputs from my work laptop to monitors and other external devices. It supports all of the previously mentioned items except the Oz mammals I mentioned. Set up all your cords, wires and power input to the docking station and then you simple plug the one USBC plug to your laptop.Voila, you can have multiple monitors, cameras, USB, USBC, etc. etc. with but one wire to your laptop. I use a Dell and the power charges my laptop under heavy use, so the voltage is correct. When I’m done for the day at home and due in the office the next, I simply unplug the one power source / info feed from my laptop, put in my backpack and I am off to the office in the morning. When I work from home, I need to just plug in one wire and all my peripherals are running perfectly. I have not detected any lag or lack of performance and the product is a full time part of my home office set up.

Very Lightweight but Works Well
If you are looking for a docking hub, this is a good choice. It has a realistic compatibility list that, even though it may become outdated, seems to be sufficient. The user manual is included, and an email for support is offered. It seems to be MacBook-oriented, but anyone who reads a user manual for a hub probably has enough expertise to figure out how things work. The main points of the manual center around power supply, HDMI, and how to mirror or extend your screens. A troubleshooting guide is included that is called “Lifetime Service.” Note that your USB charger has to be greater than 8W or you’ll need an extra charger for the dock. The hub has a very light metallic feel, and I found it gets pulled around easily by the various cords I have plugged into it. The main power cord that plugs from the hub into the laptop is rather short. That results in a gathering of cables and cords all nested around the hub that’s about 6 inches from the laptop. It is not easy to keep them out of the way. However, it is very lightweight and comes with a carrying pouch. I don’t know why that’s important, but it was included as a pleasant surprise. When I first plugged in my laptop, I got a message saying the charging device was not compatible. But after leaving it plugged in for a few minutes, the warning went away, and my laptop switched to power mode (plugged in). The HDMI worked beautifully, and other devices I connected appeared without problems. Overall, I think this is a good product. I’m glad to have it.

Nice docking station for a small notebook with good features
SUtechSmart 12 in 1 HubI recently got a new Dell XPS 13. It only has two USB C ports and nothing else. Obviously, I needed a good docking station. The SUtechSmart docking station has a nice selection of ports and all the functionality I need. It is small enough to fit in my notebook case, looks good, and seems very well made.I tested the unit with 3 different external SSDs, 2 different SD cards, ethernet, and two HDMI monitors. All worked well. I used an Anker power supply to feed the docking station using it to power the Dell XPS.The only thing that did not work was my external USB C monitor. It uses the video pass-through function which is not supported by the docking station. At least I couldn’t get it to work.I did not test the display port because none of my monitors support it and I only tested one HDMI device at a time. The instruction booklet warns you that all HDMI ports may not be active at the same time depending on your device configuration. The instruction booklet that comes with the unit lists some of the devices it is compatible with and warns you that the Dell XPS needs a more powerful power supply than the 45watt unit supplied with it because the docking station uses 8 watts.Overall, it’s a very nice unit and I hope to be using it for a long time.
