This capture card works very well, it comes with USB and HDMI cables, and also comes with an instruction manual that helps a lot, especially for beginners.

This capture card functions very well I’ve had some slight flickering one time and unplugged it and never happened since but for the price this is outstanding

Great value
So, as others have said, these will take a 4K image but won't output any higher than 1080p. That made literally no difference to me for my use case though. If you're looking at capturing a game console and getting it into OBS without paying Elgato prices, look no further. Has built in HDMI splitter which I wasn't 100% sure would work, but it does well enough. The audio isn't the highest quality ever but it's not bad either. Entirely powered off a USB 3.0 port. That cable is a bit short so you may want to get an extension as well. Been using it to stream Red Dead Redemption from my Xbox 360 and has worked very well so far!

OBS states 4k and 2k are "Not Supported"
This capture card works fine with the Firestick 4K Gen2. It does not support 2k or 4k as stated. It also gets pretty warm. I will be returning this VIXLW card as the $34 XIIXMASK works as advertised, 4k in, 2k out.

Great on security system
We wanted remote monitoring of a security system without giving inbound Internet access to it. With this and a raspberry Pi with motion freeware, the monitor is online and the security system is secure. Monitor in-house is still connected too. It's great!
