So I notice that it although it does hold well. It has left some residue on my hair I’m not sure if your hair has to be clean to apply product but I’m usually able to redo my edges with no problem . I’m going to try it on clean hair and see if it does the same I have been natural going on 14 years I have been through my share of edge controls. And babyyyyyyyyyy when I say this is a must have. I’m got natured and my head gets hot before anything else. Which causes my head to sweat and my hair just curls up. Well I am currently going on 24 hours of having this on my baby hairs and they have not moved a bit. Smells good. The size and price is very much worth it. OK ladies this is it. This is the one for years. I’ve searched for an edge control that simply last through the day and this one does it. I work in a restaurant and I tried it out over Mother’s Day weekend very simply on my edges with my braids and it lasted all day. I did have my hair tied down when I had to go back on the line to cook. it survived me sweating lightly. I have not tried on a day that I forget my scarf at home and I sweat at work and I don’t have it but if you know sweats coming And you can tie it down and tie up your hair, and they’ll last.I used it after taking my braids out on a ponytail under my wig, and it lasted. Now with a full sweat, my edges curled up, but a stiff brush and a few minutes with the scarf, brought them right back, no more product needed.I’ve tried gels, other brands of edge control, spritz’s, hair spray, and even braid gels. This is the first brand that slicks em back, doesn’t melt and leave my head greasy. This product may keep me from a relaxer for a little bit longerIt does get hard after day 3, so I’ll be using and washing it out before reapplying.

I have been using edge control for many many years so I have tried alot of them. Some leave your edges looking like you are graying with all the residues and others just hold your edges down for a couple minutes while others with extra firm hold will give you 2 hours hold if you are lucky. After trying this edge control, I will not have to look no further or try a new brand ever again as long as they keep making this.As soon as I put it on my edges and give it a touc, it is the firmness hold I ever had. It stays on the entire day. Even when I work out and sweat profusely it only budge a little bit and still holds up very well. I am completely sold on this product. Do not change the formula. It's perfect.

For the 4c hair type this is the one my edges be stuck. My hair is very thick and this does the trick. Heat ,sweat and all I’m natural now and most edge controls on hold for a half or are to greasy it holds all day this one is good. The only thing I don’t like it sometimes it give that white build up if u keep applying it without cleaning it off first. Other then that I’m keep using it. Make sure to keep it stored away in a dry area and covered because it will dry out once it does its not good

So I ordered this because I have really curly hair and it's hard to lay down like I want it to...even with using gel and the got to be glue and I must say that it does what it supposed to do my hair is laid down I didn't even have to tie it up or nothing I put it in the ponytail did my hair in the style I wanted and was able to go just like that so definitely buy it.. are truly recommended from a real reviewer lol

This product will lay your edges so that part gets 5 stars. Where it goes wrong is the white very noticeable residue that appears after it dries. Depending on how much you use definitely be prepared to wash your hair to get it out. I would not recommend combing or brushing your edges/hair with product still in it. The hold is very strong and will cause breakage if proper hair care is not practiced. Going to try wetting my hair first before applying to see if that helps with the residue. Occasional/emergency use I can see but I wouldn’t put this in my hair on a regular basis.

I’m not one to usually write reviews but this gel really works. This is the first product that holds my type 4 natural edges along my locs all day and would probably last a couple of days if I didn’t wash it out. I’m not going to say it’s completely flake free because it does leave a slight residue if I use too much.It’s a good size jar too. I recommend you buy this if you’re looking for an actual all day hold
