Fantastic brooder!
This is a really fantastic brooder. It was easy-ish to assemble, though a bit tricky as the directions could have been better. The brooder itself worked really well and is a great size. They say up to 35 birds, though I do not recommend that. I hatched 34 eggs and it was perfect size in the beginning, but after a couple of weeks of growing there was not enough room for them. I did like this brooder enough that I bought a second one, though.

Expensive for the quality
For the price, I'm not impressed. But it will do the job.Cons1. The instructions are terrible. Very little information and a lot of it you just gotta figure out. I work construction so was able to figure it out fairly easy, but could definitely see where an issue would arise for others.2. Only 50 percent of the screw holes line up correctly and the hinged top is all tweaked.3. Turned it on to make sure everything worked and the chemical smell coming off it is terrible. Thankfully I've got time to let it burn that off before i put chicks in.Pros1. Good size for starting probably 10-15 chicks for their first couple weeks, after that they'll need a bigger home. If you're only raising a few chicks you could probably have it last longer.2. I like the plexiglass front so you can see what's happening with the chicks without disturbing their environment.3. Comes with all the things a beginning chicken owner would need. I'll likely put a larger waterer in it and a different feeder, but that's only because i already have them.Overall the price point could be better for what it is. Quality control needs to be better. And the instructions leave a lot to be desired. But it will do the job required of it and comes with everything you need to get started.

Moderate difficulty in building
The media could not be loaded. The panels for this box were not configured properly so it was hard to properly install the boxOn both sides without one being extremely difficult. A couple of screws were stripped due to that and I also just left one screw half way locked in due to the difficulty perfect alignment. You definitely need a power drill to save a lot of time. Now that the hard work is done, I’m excitedTo use it. I do think that it looks great over all. Just a more medium level of experience is helpful with a build like this for time management. Overall I still recommend it.4.5 out of 5 stars👍As a first timer with chickens, be mindful of having nothing in the box that the chickens can climb on top of because they will burn themselves on the heat lamps. I had to get a low chicken feeder rather than just the tray it comes with because they will sleep on top of it and of course poop right on top of it too.

10/10 recommend!
The packaging was amazing! It's truly a great set up and exactly what I needed. I ordered 2! I will probably end up buying a 3rd in the future. 10/10

Don't waste your time or money- purchase from a actual farming store.
This brooder box looks to be an amazing purchase for my classroom hatchery. However, I spent over an hour to build it to find out the there is a missing screw for the heating lamp socket. It also requires an electrician to wire and install the heating lamps which I was unaware of when purchasing this item. After searching hardware stores to replace the missing screw but had no luck, I had to resort to calling Amazon about the missing screw. I spoke with three Amazon Customer Service members all who were completely unhelpful. The Customer Service Supervisor by the name of BJ was down right rude stating that I needed to return the item in the original packing in order for them to start the refund process. Even after explaining to her that it was fully built and I wasn't going to take the time to disassemble the item in order to even try to get it back into the original box, she replied with "there is nothing more for me to speak with you about so I'm ending this call."

Pieces don’t fit, issues with manufacturing
Experienced multiple issues during set up. TLDR the pieces aren’t sized appropriately and we had to do a lot of improvisation to make it fit together. Chicks arrive this Friday so I can’t speak to the functionality of it yet but very unimpressed so far.The little plastic strip that goes in the front was about 4mm too long. It visibly bowed even with the screws loose. I ended up sanding it down quite a bit to fit. Some of the screws weren’t properly aligned for the back panel. Had to redrill one altogether as it was about 2mm further in than the rest. Had trouble with a few others as well but they didn’t have to be redrilled, just installed at an angle. The doors on the front were too small and just fell out. We had to glue cardboard under the sticky strip for them to fit.The screws from the heating fixtures stick out of the top just a hair. I’ve already cut myself on them once now.Small aesthetic issue, the plastic panels all came covered in a film to protect them. The panels on the top are sealed on both sides so you can’t just rip it off easy and tons of little pieces stuck to the edges of the frame. The film came off the other pieces just fine.

Comes all in pieces
The brooder itself is sturdy enough, when put together. The problem is that everything has to be put together to include wiring the lights to the sockets! I’m not an electrician, and didn’t feel comfortable doing that. I feel that they could have at least color coded the wires to the right clamp in the socket. I also have Amazon prime, and the product was to have arrived the next day, which didn’t happen. This is my view, not to happy, as it was not cheap!
