Excellent, Absorbent Dressings.
I worked in the operating theatre for over 40 years. In that time I’ve used many of this type of expensive surgical dressings. This dressing is one of the best I’ve ever used.It is a good size and the pad is very absorbent.Great for exudate and doesn’t stick to the wound. The adhesive stays firmly stuck to the skin, but is painless and easy to remove. The price of these quality dressings is absolutely brilliant, compared to Mepore type dressings. Can’t see why NHS Supplies are not buying these dressings as a preference. No wonder the NHS is running out of money!!

Very good plasters

Sticks like glue!
They're good and can be cut to size but the glue is too strong, hard to remove and leaves a lot of residue. I was disappointed as it was hassle to clean it off my skin.

Exactly what I needed!
I bought these to use after a laparoscopy surgery I had, these were perfect to use for changing my dressings on my incisions. They stuck really well and were the perfect size I needed. I also liked that whilst I never had an issue with them coming off or the corners lifting, they didn’t hurt to remove when I changed them so they were perfect.

The best breathable and adhesive plasters I’ve ever bought , they’re fantastic !!
These plasters come in nice large sizes , and smaller ones too , I bought both sizes , the price is fantastic for these top quality plasters , breathable and they stay on too , good adhesive , my dog had 2 large operations , they covered and kept the wounds beautifully , no need for a head collar , even better , I always look at ratings before I buy and read reviews , believe me these are the best , I’m hard to please but these are easily brilliant !!

A first aid kit must...
You can get similar dressings (albeit a tad smaller at 10x7cm) from Superdrug, costing £3.20 for 5.As such, with a box of 25 costing £6, these are excellent value - and you get same day delivery!I find these dressings to be easy and effective to use - just as good as any others I have purchased. I am allergic to normal plasters so these are a godsend - and much easier to use rather than a dressing held down by Micropore tape. While advertised as 10x8cm, the actual pad area is about 6x5cm - which is adequate for most grazes and lesions. However, you do need to ensure the surrounding skin is dry before application.I usually treat the lesion with an antiseptic spray, dry the surrounding skin and then leave it for about 5 minutes before applying a dressing. I change the dressing once or twice a day.Once applied, these do stick well to the skin and can be tricky to remove even after a shower. I find pulling gently at a corner works best and is relatively painless (though ensure the lesion is fully covered by the absorbent pad rather than the sticky area!).I now keep a supply of these in our kitchen and car first aid kits - and it's generally better to have a dressing that is too large rather than too small!

Does what it says
The product itself is as described though I would say that it's not suitable for sensitive skin as it's adhesive is very strong to the point that it can be difficult to remove leaving pieces of the bandage on the skin and it can rip your skin as well.Still a solid item.
