7 Balls, 3 Adjustable Heights, 10 Games Modes - Awesome!
This was a GREAT addition to our basement. It arrived in one heavy box, with no damaged or missing pieces. Among the 10 game modes are single player, 1 vs. 1, collaborative scoring, crossfire (where you shoot diagonally) and different game durations. If I had a dime for every time my 8 year-old said "please, just one more game!" I'd have enough to buy another one. We had some adult friends over last night, and this was the game of choice, getting more play than foosball, ping pong and Stiga rod hockey combined. Scoring is nearly perfect, the only misses coming when two balls go through in very rapid succession.Assembly was fairly easy - one recommendation I have is to have a 10 mm box wrench available, it'll make holding all the nuts easier. The supplied Allen wrench works fine, though I used one from my bike tool to get a little more leverage & save my fingers some abuse. Use your own full-sized phillips head screwdriver for the few screws that need that tool. Instructions were pretty clear; the only part I messed up was that I put the net/ramp on upside down, which we fixed the following day. There are black tabs on the net for the control module wire to pass through, and they should be on the right side as you look at the rim from the shooting area. Fully assembled, it is sturdy yet easy to move - the wheels also lock to prevent it from moving around when shooters "lean in". With a few interruptions, I took my time and got it together in 3 hrs, all-in. Helps to have a partner when hanging the backboard. No electrical outlets nearby? No problem! Can run on AA batteries or be plugged in. Shuts itself off after a period of inactivity.Great quality, good value, tons of fun. We're very happy with this purchase.

EXCEPTIONAL PRODUCT, EXCEPTIONAL FUN!!
I can't think of a better word than "exceptional"! From the product reviews, I was convinced this would be a quality product, and indeed it is. But as much as I read about how fun this would be, I knew that would be an individual experience that I would have to wait and discover myself.First off, I bought this for my 10 year old niece (she is obsessed with basketball) because she wanted it so bad. I set it up in our basement which has a 7' 9" ceiling. The middle height adjustment was perfect. We almost could have went to the highest setting if I had a couple more inches to work with. But we like it just fine where it's at.We have had this just a few days, and it has been used for hours! I'm 42 and enjoying this very much. But with 6 kids in the house (between the ages of 10 and 18) it is getting used several times a day. Everyone loves it! It even gives you more exercise than you would think. The kids complain that they are hot and their arms hurt from playing so much haha. Hey, anything that compels these young ones to put down their phones and go compete in some physical activity is definitely a win!Besides the physical quality of the product itself, I'm also pleased with the mechanics. I've been watching the scoring accuracy very carefully while the kids play. I agree that the sensors seem to be working at least 98% percent of the time. Probably better, because I have only witnessed twice that a score was not counted. And that's after hundreds of shots! So now, I have to tell you one of my favorite parts... the announcer! The kids agree with me that "he" makes this game so much fun! The music is also quite good. Not just a cheesy multi-tone sound, but real music! The built in speaker is of better quality than most games I've purchased, but I love that fact that there is a aux jack on the back to plug in a better, external speaker. I did this and it sounds amazing! Also, the announcer had quite a large vocabulary. Yes, you do hear the same phrases quite a bit, but there are many of them. And even after hours of play, new ones we haven't heard come up. He gives both encouraging comments and gives some sarcastic, humorous comments too. I won't spoil the fun by quoting his comments here, but he is entertaining and adds to the entire experience. The 10 games also keep this game from getting too repetitive. The kids love to switch it up all the time. The "cheat sheet" is very handy too because it is attached next to the control board and it gives an explanation of all the games. This has been one of the best entertainment investments we've ever made and it's an awesome compliment to our game room!P.S. The fact that it easily lifts and folds up, allowed us to place it by our pool table so it does not get in our way at all.

Very good product
We found the game to be very sturdy and fairly easy to assemble. We did use YouTube as a guide which was really helpful to avoid some of the problems other buyers have had. My husband and I are enjoying the game, but we really bought it for grandkids. Husband writing now: I am NOT handy with tools (understatement!), so it took me (age 72) 6 hours to assemble the game, but it was actually straightforward and fun to do. I only messed up a couple of times and had to redo little things. Everything works great. Suggestion: You will need a friend for the backboard assembly. It's heavy. Also, try to use your own tools. The company admits your tools will probably be better than the provided ones, which are designed for people who have absolutely no screw drivers or wrenches. A ratchet wrench is a wonderful thing! Also, get some kind of step stool when mounting the backboard because of the weight and height. Our game fit under a 93 inch basement ceiling, using one extension tube on each side. You are not giving your shot much of an arc at that height and I'd say one in 300 shots will scrape our 93" ceiling, but sometimes the scrapers end up going through the net, it's still a lot of fun. Ideal for 10 foot ceilings, but I can see where kids could use it at only 7 feet. Would I recommend this game? Sure! It's expensive, but so far seems to be well worth the money. Brings out your competitive spirit! I'll update this as soon as the grandkids visit.

Great family fun
I bought the Pop A Shot for my grandchildren and we are having a blast playing together. The game is very solid and so far is holding up great! I basically assembled the game by myself except I had to have help attaching the scoreboard / backboard.I had to read the directions several times and had to undo a couple steps, but slowly I got it together and I’m a grandma. It’s a great value for the price and definitely adds to our game room!
