I had a shorter slightly thinner mat for yoga. I used it on carpet so it was fine for most everything except for a few poses that ended up slightly off the mat. This one is a great length (I am 5' 4-1/2") and is soft enough even on the tile floor. It doesn't slip on my travertine, and I don't slip on it.

Pros: Great find for the price. I like the thickness of this mat and it does clean and wipe down fairly easy.Cons: I do hot yoga and when I tell you this thing turns into a slip n slide.. haha just something to think about if you do sweat a lot during your yoga sessions.Even though I’m currently looking for another mat I do plan to keep this one for home yoga because it is comfy and worth the price in my opinion.

An excellent yoga mat. I’ve had quite a few over the years. Three things I like particularly: the length; one side is ribbed, the other flat; the thickness of it, so very kind on sensitive limbs, I’ve some arthritis in a few places. Actually four things: love the colour. Great price too. What’s not to love? I think it will last me for years.

This item was very thick therefore during my situps was very comfortable. And being black it was a very good luck. And I had it for five months and it lasted me five months out there so it had really good durability.
