Great value Amazon brand as always Amazon reliable and affordable

Incompatible with smart outlets
Would not be a good candidate for automation as you must physically interact with the heater before it will turn on. Other than that it works well

Decent space heater for under a desk
Compact heater used to keep my feet warm in my basement where I have a computer setup. Works great.Heats a space large enough for under the desk, but not much else.Auto tilt cutoff, a separate fan mode, and also doesn't smell on startup.

Not the best
I ordered this small heater for under my desk at work. The size factor was important as was the relatively low wattage. This heater checks the box for both of those issues as it is very small and only 520 watts. The heat output is in line with the low wattage so saying it doesn't get very hot isn't entirely fair as you're, of course, going to get a lot more heat from a heater with 750, 1200, or more watts. My biggest disappointment is with the way you interact with the power controls. There are two buttons on top of the unit that control the heat and the fan. Only, they don't work properly. You're supposed to be able to push one button to light up the fan icon and then the other button works the fan strength from one through three. Push the power button again to switch to the heater icon and then the other button controls the heat setting from one to three. My buttons are exactly reversed. When the fan icon is lit up pushing the second button controls the intensity of the heat, not the strength of the fan. When the heat icon is lit up, pushing the second button then controls the strength of the fan and not the intensity of the heat. It took me a long time to figure that one out as the tiny amount of instructions - and logic - suggested otherwise. Maybe I have a bad heater where some wires are crossed on the inside? The main button that should control the switching of the functions is also the power button and you push it a third time to turn the device off. Only thing is that it takes about a good 5 seconds to actually shut off and sometimes you forget about this and think it's still left on which means you have to sit there and wait to make sure it's truly off.If I had it over to do again, I'd pass on this cheap model; you get what you pay for. I'd look for one that has maybe 750 watts as a nice middle ground and one that has a completely dedicated on/off switch. I'd also look for one that has physical dial for the fan control and a separate dial for the heat control. This fan isn't terrible, but I'm left wishing I bought a different one so my advice to you is to spend a bit more money and get one that is functionally better.I hope this review was helpful for you. Cheers!

Great for saving some money and providing just enough heat
I really like the low wattage heaters for under my desk and such. Spot heating really saves quite a bit of money over the winter utility bills. A 1500 watt is just too much for what I need to keep my office just a few degrees warmer than the rest of the house. I can put this under my desk & on the lowest setting, I'm usually comfortable. This is the only low wattage heater I've seen with 3 heat settings. It really makes this heater so much more useful rather than turning it on and off all day. Don't expect it to perform like a 1500 watt heater if that is what you need. But I can keep the house at 60 and still stay warm and toasty while I work in my office. For a bathroom that I only want to heat while I get ready, I still prefer a higher wattage to heat the room quickly so I can be ready quickly. But for all day heat, I'm loving the savings this unit provides.

Useless Heater with no Thermostat despite description
This device is sold as an “Electric space heater with thermostat”. The manual call it this too. But it does not have a thermostat. It just turns off when it gets too hot and must be manually turned unplugged and turned on to function again. A thermostat is defined as, “ a device that automatically regulates temperature, or that activates a device when the temperature reaches a certain point.” This heater in no way meets that definition. We bought it to heat a cool space to around 75 F expecting it to turn off when it reached this temperature, then turn back on when the space cooled down. It cannot do that. It simply turns on, heats without stopping until it gets so hot then turns off. It has to be unplugged a turned back on manually to heat again. In no way can it regulate temperature and it easily will burn and melt items before it reaches its “overheat shut off temperature”. We sent it back.

Fantastic!
I got this heater to use in a self-built camper van. I had planned to install a diesel heater but we were taking a trip and I didn’t have time for all that, so I got this, and I am so glad I did! My plans for the diesel heater have been scrapped. It runs on 120v, I have a 2kw inverter that runs it just fine along with lights and everything else, and it warms up our van in just a few minutes! If you live in north Canada in January, this probably won’t work, but for our van this will keep us comfortable even when it’s down below freezing outside. I’ll switch it on in the morning and go back to sleep for 20 or 30 minutes and it will be perfectly comfortable when I get up to start the coffee! It uses more electricity than a diesel parking heater so we can’t let it run nonstop, but for the money i saved getting this vs $200+ for a diesel, the space savings (when not in use I just throw it in a bottom drawer) AND not having to mess with a tank of diesel fuel under my sink, this is WELL worth it!If you’re looking for something inexpensive to heat a spare room or a small shed/garage, anything around 100 sq ft or so, this is the ticket! It won’t make the room HOT, but it will absolutely take the chill off and make things comfortable.
