POC Octal MIPS (CPSC) Cycling Helmet

I like the helmet and it fits me well. The listing incorrectly lists the Large size as 59-62 cm. The box for the helmet says Large is 56 - 62 cm as shown in picture. I’m a measured 59 cm so it fits great for me. My head is an oval rather than round so there’s a little room on the sides but it’s still secure. I can expand the liner to fit a Lycra beanie in the winter. The neck strap is adjustable forwards and backwards to fit my neck. I find the some helmets choke me, but this helmet fits well.

Comfortable, easily adjustable, breathable, works with all glasses, MIPS protection and stylish. There is a reason POC helmets cost more and that is because they are simply better.They are feather weight and don’t strain your neck over a long day in the saddle and the straps and air flow out perform all others in this price range.

Fits great, vents cool head. Make sure to measure your head. This is my 2nd identical POC but I had to go up a size. Good value for the money

I ride 3 - 4 times a week. Long distances and various terrain. This helmet has delivered.

Great ventilation, very round and not sleek looking. Great for hot days and those that sweat a lot. Still a great looking helmet.I cannot put my glasses on the outside of the straps without discomfort due to how they attach to the body of the helmet. Other helmets have the straps closer to the side of your head.The pads that are intended to hold your sunglasses in the vents do work better than other helmets I own where the glasses hold against the foam.

-I purchased the white version for better visibility versus my old black helmet.-It is very light and comfortable. It almost feels like it isn't there.-I do get a bit of wind noise like some commented but I feel like you will always get wind noise in a fast descent.-Helmet is very well ventilated my head has stayed cool so far.-Tightening mechanism in the back of the helmet is smooth and easy to adjust on the fly. No painful pressure points after about two hours.-Chin strap is comfortable.

Cheaply made and has a plastic coating that is peeling many locations. The adjustment knob is also extremly hard to get a hold of and loosening is a pain!
