You get what you're paying for
I needed a headset with a mic to play my Xbox with my brother. I haven't had a headset + mic n a very long time since I'm rocking a Shure microphone and Sennheiser headphones for my pc setup. I wasn't sure where to start since so many new headsets have come out in the past few years (and razer's quality has drastically gone downhill). My friend recommended these to me and they do not disappoint. Obviously the music quality isn't as good, but the bass lows and sfx in video games sound great. The microphone itself is good quality and the headset is comfortable to wear for long sessions. The headset does not feel low quality or like cheap plastic. I didn't intend to buy the lilac color but as a man I think they're actually really cute.

Perfect $50 gaming headset
Sound quality is good but isn't anything to write home about, perfectly solid for a headset at this price range. Surround sound is also pretty good, I've been playing lethal company with these and these are perfect at emulating that game's fantastic sound design and directional sound.Mic quality is great for the price, again, not as good as a dedicated mic, but way better than most other $50 headsets, even better than a lot of $100 headsets!Pretty comfortable and breathable I don't get that kind of gamer head sweatyness like from others, even after hours. Even with glasses there's no major discomfort, maybe a bit of soreness after hours of continual pressure, but nothing that doesn't go away after a quick 5min break with them off.Only complaint is that I wish I got these wireless! For me, the cable is a bit long, and often gets tangled up in my desk and chair. I may just swap out the aux for a shorter one...Overall, these are the best $50 headset I've owned, can't recommend it highly enough for its solid sound quality, comfort, and mic quality.

Awful microphone
I purchased this headset because I owned the original version of the A10 for over 7 years and though it was time for an upgrade. If you are looking at this headset for this reason, DO NOT purchase it. Just stick with the old one. I returned this and bought the original version because it is so much better. When I first received the headset it was in fine condition. The headphones are extremely small but it worked okay for me because I have small ears, but they were still pretty uncomfortable to wear for longer periods of time, which is not ideal considering these are gaming headphones.Within roughly 4 days the microphone became rather loose. It would only go all the way up into the muted position, or it would fall all the way down and it was no longer adjustable. From the moment I got it the microphone did not pick up all of my audio and cut out extremely often even when my audio input sensitivity was turned all the way up. Within 2 weeks, the microphone had come almost completely detached with light usage (maybe 4 times a week for 3 to 4 hours at a time). I would NOT recommend buying this headset given the quality of the microphone, audio, and fit of the headphones. The only positive thing I have to say about this headset is that it comes with a shorter cord, and I enjoy the array of colors.

Reliable (1 year update)
After almost a year of using these headphone I’ve found a few problems (which is expected for the price) but these are still pretty good.1.) these headphone sound really well as a perfect mix between a casual and competitive gamer these headphone are good. They have really good directional sound they can get pretty loud and have some decent bass my only problem (which might have been a problem with my controller) the headset cord would come out very easy and would cause static to go through the mic it. To be fair that might have happened from my misuse of the headset but keep that in mind2.) the mic is pretty decent while it isn’t the best mic I’ve used it’s clear and transparent it doesn’t grab to much background noise and is pretty adjustable so you can move it to the spot you want my only complaint is after a year of using it (again this might be a problem with my controller or from my mistreat of the headset) the mic would randomly cut out and I’d have to unplug it and plug it back in before it started to work againIn conclusion it’s a really good headset while there is much better ones out there for this price there isn’t really much better options the big thing though is if you’re willing to spend an extra $50 get a wireless headset once you go wireless you really can’t go back it’s so much more convenient and efficient to just have a wireless headset but that’s a topic for another dayTLDR these headphones are good for the price and if you are trying to get a gift for a gamer you know or if you’re a casual gamer yourself and just want a good headset this is here and will get you what you need

Great for what i need it for!
Seems to be good bang for your buck; just got them in tonight and. have been using for the past hour. Honestly I'm surprised at how comfortable they are and at the sound as well. They are not fully noise-cancelling (to be expected) but the quality of the sound is great. I haven't used the mic feature yet and am having some trouble getting the input to work for it, so I may put this down to 4 stars if that persists. I got these since I work from home and it won't be a huge deal if that feature ends up not being compatible with my desktop Mac, but definitely a little irritating atm. Overall I like what I paid for. EDIT: It took a lot of tinkering with plugging in and out and twisting in the ports to get my input mic to work. But it works and the quality of my recordings and calls are great! It is a little quiet, so I had to turn my dials all the way up but sounds great now.
