I have not bought a brush in over 5 years other than my wet brand brush. This brush, went right thru my hair(which is normally stick straight-but I had a body wave about 5 months ago). I run and workout etc and get snarls in my hair often.I have a 3 year old with a little bit past her shoulders hair length. She likes to not brush her hair so there's is normally lots of screaming and tears. I try to be so gentle with her too. I tried it on her after it worked great on me. And all I did was take my hair down out of A pony and brushed and it was like butter!! Then my 3 year old tried it and I helped. And she said Mom I'm not crying. SOLD, let's buy more lol!!! My daughter(5yo) HATES having her hair brushed… had this for 2 days and she hasn’t stopped brushing her own hair. She says it’s a magic brush and we need throw away all others bc they’re horrible.Works well wet and dry as advertisedI saw some other reviews say it broke quickly, and after receiving it I see what they’re talking about, but you’d have to drop it or sit on it to snap it like that, it’s not overly ridged. So unless you’re brushing through an actual squirrels nest, I wouldn’t worry

I have really thick dark hair that likes to go from wavy to curly depending on the weather. But I also suffer from severe depression and it leads to not taking care of my basics needs from not eating to not even brushing my hair for weeks. I usually put it up in a bun to hide how bad it is, even though I know I'm just avoiding the inevitable. I would just get so scared to even try brushing it out because I know it'll be painful and I've had a sensitive scalp since I was young. I barely get my haircut or let the hairstylist brush my hair, i do it myself because of how painful it can be for me.I had my doubts about this product because I thought it was just all hype. But I had an event coming up that I couldn't miss and I was desperate to brush out my matted hair. I lost my old trusty hairbrush when I traveled during the holidays and went ahead to buy three different detangler brushes to try, but this one was the best! The other two were the BESTOOL Detangling Brush & the Ninabella Organic Detangling Hair Brush. The Bestool worked well, but not as much as this brush. And I'm not satisfied with how unsturdy the Ninabella wasIts lightweight and on the smaller than i expected since i had the size of a paddle brush in mind; it made me more doubtful of its usefulness more because I have too much hair. But it caused me very little pain (mats will always cause some pain) and made what is usually a multiday process to less than 10 minutes. I was brought to tears of how well it worked. It didn't snag, the bristles were still in place, and it was really easy to remove loose hairs. I also liked that the bristles were long enough to stimulate the scalp when brushing, I could barely feel the bristles of the Bestool, which maybe some other people prefer that. Its also really sturdy unlike the Ninabella which would just couldnt make it through the big knots. This brush can be used in the shower too without worry of water getting stuck inside like my old brushes with the cushions uner the bristles. Ive been using this brush in the shower, when its only semi dry, and whenever i just need to touch uo my hair when its dry. I'm not sure how it works. It doesn't look like anything special either, but works so well everytime!I'm grateful that it's brought me some relief in regards to no longer fearing to brush my hair when I just can't find the will to fight my mental illness and get out of the deep pit. There's no more crying, no sore arms, no throbbing scalp, and no self-hating. If you had the same struggle with your hair, you should give this a try!

I am so thankful for this brush ! My son has curly hair and it gets very tangled at times. He hates getting it washed because that means getting it detangled. It’s not fun for either of us . He ends up in tears and I dread doing it. No matter how many hair products we try , the result is a lengthy process from start to finish. So when I say this brush is amazing, I am referring to no tears , LESS TIME and an overall better experience detangling my son’s hair. Is it perfect, no . Does it comb right through from roots to ends (like all the videos out there) , no . But it does help tremendously and I highly recommend it ! I made sure to use the brush on wet hair after applying our usual conditioning cream to his hair . I started at the ends and worked my way up to the roots (in small sections). I could not believe how fast I was able to get through half of his hair . This brush has taken the stress and discomfort out of managing his hair . Try it without expectations of a miracle brush or no tugging at all because that’s just not realistic. I hope this product helps others who are experiencing the same struggles. Definitely worth trying it .

YALLLLL???? this brush is literally amazing?? I have type 4 hair (4a or b) and detangling my hair is an Olympic sport. Now, when I saw how small and non-bulky this brush was, I didn’t think it was gonna work well, but I just got out of the shower right now and this brush untangled my hair so quick and easily! there was no tugging, yanking or pulling, i did not have to section my hair or add an unholy amount of conditioner to untangle, i almost thought my hair was straight lol. I’m especially surprised because I’ve had my hair in a high puff for like the last four days and have not brushed or touched it. This brush has changed the game definitely like… I HAVE NEVER DETANGLED MY HAIR SO EASILY!
