Light licorice flavor. Easy to chew. Helps pre-digestion
My husband loves these, but I'm not crazy about hem bc of slight licorice flavor. Easy to chew real quick before eating.

Tastes like candy—and actually works. A game-changer for PPI tapering.
I don’t even like black licorice, but these taste surprisingly good - more like a soft candy than a supplement. The texture and sweetness are spot on. But more importantly, they work. For mild heartburn, DGL helps coat and protect the esophagus, relieving the burn and making reflux symptoms far more manageable. It’s been a foundational tool in my journey off daily omeprazole after nearly a decade. I also stopped eating 3 hours before bed, which made a huge difference - but DGL made it comfortable. Highly recommend if you’re healing your gut or tapering acid blockers.

DGL Works!
Works as well as or better than Tums & is a much better solution. It does have a mild licorice taste. I let it desolve in my mouth & in a few minutes the uncomfortable sensation is gone. I keep some in my purse because you just never know when you’re going to need 1.

Excellent for my acid reflex!
I have had acid reflux for many years now and my gastroenterologist had put me on two prescriptions, one in the morning and one before bed. I have terrible acid reflux most times after eating, especially bread, and also when I am sleeping. I will wake up feeling burning in my neck and throat. The prescriptions did work when taken consistently, but the side effects of these medications are not good for long term use. My friend told me about DGL. Her doctor, who sides towards more natural options, told her about taking DGL for acid reflux. I ordered this from AMAZON and have not taken my prescriptions since. It really have worked wonders for me. The doctor suggested taking it 20 minutes before meals, but I often forget, so I will often take after the meal or when I feel acid reflux coming on. I have now recommended this product to many friends and family. For $20, it is worth giving it a try.

Taste and Texture Change?
Been using this product for years and it always helps immensely. I don't know if this recent bottle was off or if the formula changed thoughbut the texture and taste is almost unbearable. Still recommend it and hoping this is a one off issue.

These have been great for me. Not just for acid reflex.
I've tried a hundred different things for multiple issues with my digestive system, and these are surprisingly the most soothing of them all. Not just for heartburn, they really help me with IBS symptoms as well. The taste is very strong if chew them. I recommend sucking on them like a cough drop. Don't hesitate to try.

XYLITOL IS SCIENTIFILCALLY PROVEN TO CAUSE HEART ATTACKS AND BLOOD CLOTS
Hate to be harsh because it's my fault for 1) not reading the ingredients, and 2) not reading the return policy, but here is the scoop...Xylitol (mostly made in China from corn) is scientifically proven to cause heart attacks and blood clots. I have tried using ingestible xylitol products (as a sweetener, and gum) and both times I ended up having heart problems. Stopped using xylitol and the heart problems went away.Fortunately, I can still use it as a mouth wash and toothpaste without problems, which is great because it is good for oral health, but I think more people need to know the dangers of xylitol for heart/cardiovascular health.Companies should take into consideration IT IS SCIENTIFILCALLY PROVEN TO CAUSE HEART ATTACKS AND BLOOD CLOTS and use a healthy alternative instead! Monk fruit extract, for example.Besides that, why have both stevia and xylitol? Stevia is sweet enough and this isn't advertised as an oral health product.Products with Xylitol NEED A WARNING LABLE IMO.I am bummed I have to buy DGL powder and can't use the chewables, but until they drop the heart attack and blood clot causing xylitol, I won't use it.
