Durable and environmentally friendly! Well worth the money.
After learning how awful 'regular' dental floss in plastic containers is for the environment/wildlife, I decided to give this a try.I was pleasantly surprised by its durability. This is the third or fourth time I have ordered this floss, and never once has it broken while pulling it through my teeth.Likewise, it does not fray.Additionally, it works very well in removing food stuck between my teeth, yet does not make my gums bleed -- which is much more than I can say about several well-known 'plastic' floss brands I have used.Unfortunately, the clear glass bottle and black floss make it more difficult for me to keep track of. I am regularly digging around for it (and cursing).I very recently decided to use some brightly colored nail polish to mark the outside of the bottle, to help me find it at the bottom of my purse and make-up bag.I believe it's supposed to be mint-flavored, but I cannot taste mint at all -- which is unfortunate, but not a big deal. I would much rather have no taste, rather than a BAD one.

Best Floss Ever
I have very slack teeth and periodontal disease that causes food to get stuck. Traditional floss helps but this floss, clean! It’s a great thickness, and the floss is textured.Great floss. Don’t change a thing nor sellout to a big company!

Strong, Works Well for Wide & Tight Spaces
I’ve been experimenting, trying different flosses. Some shred too easily, leaving strings stuck between teeth. Others are too thin or too thick, or too hard to cut to the right length. My mouth is a mix of large spaces and very tight spaces, so I figured I might need 2 different types of flosses. I was surprised that this floss worked well in both tight and wide spaces between my teeth. So far no shredding, and a pleasant natural taste. Plus I like that bamboo is a natural fiber, and grows like a weed, several inches a day in the tropics. I asked my dentist about activated charcoal, and she said she uses it. The bottle reminded me of a salt or pepper shaker; I like the transparency, and the cutting blade on the cap lets me cut it to the precise length I want. In contrast, the Amazon floss, which I also like, has a metal cutter sometimes shredding the floss near the end, and has too much slippage so I cut longer lengths than I want.

Better than expected
Usually I dislike waxed floss because it seem to slip across teeth without actually cleaning. Unable to find any unwaxed natural floss, I gave this a try. The fiber has enough texture to feel like it is actually cleaning (though I'd still prefer unwaxed). At first it felt so thin I thought it would break easily, but that has not happened even in the tight spaces. The cutter on the lid is nice and sharp - no tugging needed. The only disadvantage is the very small size of the container. The tightly wound floss bobbin fits inside beautifully, but my arthritic hands have a bit of difficulty hanging onto the tiny glass vial.Other than that, if it came in a no-wax version, it would be five stars from me.

Here are the real reasons why this rocks...
Hey, look at me! I'm saving the planet! No, I'm not going to virtue signal my reduced carbon footprint through the purchase of dental floss. This saves the plant as much as swatting a fly eliminates the creature's future CO2 output into the atmosphere. In other words, it's a nothing burger BUT here are some better reasons why this is 5-star:1. It's black. Now you can see the gunk easier on the string and, yes, that's satisfying just like seeing and hearing your vacuum pick up a bunch of dirt.2. The tiny little glass case serves as a great reminder to floss because it now sits right next to my sink instead of in the medicine cabinet where a drunken state of mind will easily forget about it before bed.3. If observed, it's also a testament to a bedroom guest that I am committed to oral cleanliness, which may help reassure her that she made the right decision to stay the night. Ok, that probably won't happen but ya never know!4. It's a little grainy and that means it's probably scrubbing a lot better than those overwaxed brands that prioritize comfort over cleanliness, which is stupid because nothing is more uncomfortable than dentist picks scrapping your gums and snagging nerves because your floss sucked.Probably not the review this company wanted but too bad. I'm hooking them up with that niche market that doesn't care about personally saving the plant, yet still fears the dentist.

Better habits with more harmless impacts
Bought this because I want to encourage myself to floss more, but I don't dig the plastic floss. I appreciate that this is vegan - I am not, but I appreciate vegan options, you know? Why not? No issues with the dispenser - it seems to be well-made for a simple item and cuts the strands fine. The floss itself seems a bit thicker than conventional floss, so it can get "stuck" briefly, though I assume part of this to be from the fact that I've not been a consistent flosser during my life. I enjoy the product itself and am happy to announce that I am now flossing much more regularly - and without the guilt that something I use daily will not compost!

BEST floss ever!
I was surprised to find that this floss is not only environmentally friendly but actually works better than any other brand I have used. It has just the right texture and thickness, and even though it seems more expensive than the brands I used previously, it probably isn’t because I need to use much less of it. This is a keeper! My teeth are happy and my conscience too. :)
