We purchased this cover when we got the cooler. It provides a little extra insulation with some pockets for the power cords and some other small items like napkins. I thought the Velcro would make opening it a nuisance but it wasn't at all. The other benefit that appealed to me was that it provides a little impact protection. The cooler is over $300 and I wanted to protect it when traveling. Also, the control panel can be easily seen and used through the clear cover.The only down side is that the USB port cannot be used. It would have been nice if there were a slit in the cover so the port could be accessed.It is black so if your cooler is in the sun, I think the insulating benefit will be negated. It's easy to remove so if your cooler will be out in the sun with no power source, just take it off.This review is based on a single trip. It was used in our FJ Cruiser with the AC cord plugged into the socket in the rear of the car. We were in and out of the cooler for almost 2000 miles of travel with two overnights in a hotel.If you get the cover, I highly recommend the cooler. You'll like 'em both ;)

I have two of these coolers. I travel by RV with just one small refrigerator. These allow me to carry frozen dog food and my frozen food and all my cold beverages without crowding the refrigerator. These covers protect and insulate the coolers. They also have storage for the cords, battery, and openers.

I've had my bougerv fridge for a while now and it's all beat up from the bears. Now I have this cool slick cover and it's a bit pricey but the cut outs are made perfectly for the fridge. The strap makes it easy to carry. I wish Amazon would do lightning deals on this. For others at least, since I already bought mine..

I bought this for insulation and carrying and it meets these expectations. Nothing spectacular but functional. It will not make an ice chest out of the ref/freezer. It will help the unit in cooling and freezing on hotter days and operate more efficiently.

I purchased the BougeRv fridge and decided that I might as well go all in and grab the fridge cover while I’m at it. It seems to be well made with good materials. The fit is nice and tight on the fridge. The pockets on the outside are really handy for putting the plugs in when you’re not using them. It also has a couple of metal rings attached on the sides. Since the fridge doesn’t have any tie down points these might work for securing the fridge in the back of our Cherokee. That would be great for us because we do a lot of off roading and I don’t want the fridge banging around in the back.It’s funny, I wouldn’t have thought this cover would make much of a difference but now that I have it on I really like the overall protection, insulation and fit for the fridge. I’d have to recommend if you’re buying the fridge you should really consider going ahead and grabbing one of these covers.

I have only used the cooling system and found it to be very cold according to what temperature is selected. Only issue I have is the panel seems to automatically lock. Not a major issue as easily unlocked. I guess it probably is better to lock to prevent accidental changes if something is placed on it. Great product. I use it as a room refrigerator to keep it cold until I need it for my travels.

It helps with keeping the cooler work less. Saves on the battery power. Great in my car or the beach. Great value for the money. Easy to put on and take off.
