Not Technically a Splitter - It's Even Better.
This device actually adds a unique display for every HDMI port. So if your application allows you to assign where you want the application window to go, you will actually see 'display 1, display 2, display 3' and not just 'extended display'. So if you want a single display window to go to more than one extra screen, i.e. you are doing a PowerPoint and you want it on all screens, I'm not exactly sure how you would configure that. For me, it is not an issue because my app allows me some advanced configuration settings for the extra windows, but I'm sure that is not the case for most.It is a great device and does exactly what I need it to do. But it is technically not a splitter.

Excellent solution for windows surface laptop
Needed a way to connect my windows surface laptop to a dual monitor, but didn't want to buy an expensive dock with a bunch of additional unnecessary features that would take up desk space and require more wires. Did a bunch of research and decided to try this out. Works perfectly right out of the box without any installation required.Highly recommended as a simple, no-frills solution for a dual monitor setup for those with only one minidisplay port.

Works great for me
I had windows 10 on my laptop and didn't had any issue using it to extend my screen to 2 extra display. I am using 3 different monitor(no display on laptop because this device will only work on 3 display at a time). I use Bluetooth Mouse and keyboard so technically it has became a multi screen PC for me.TIP: Adjust screen resolution within the limit of this device and you will not have any problem in extending it.

Wish I had known it wouldn’t work with my computer
Product works, but check if it works with your computer first! Sadly it would not work with my computer. I only learned this after the fact, and in fine print.

If you decide to create a nice product, then why not have long wire so ...
Work as advertise but only giving four stars for wire being too short. If you decide to create a nice product, then why not have long wire so user can place it at his choice wire size. if you have a laptop with right size port. The wire will barely reach to the back of the laptop.

Stopped working
Was great for about 6 months then stopped working. Not happy at all. Espeicslly given it is a work day and this is desperately needed.

100% satisfied with this product
100% satisfied with this product. It was a simple plug and play install, took me all of about 2 minutes to plug in the HDMI cables to this adapter, and it worked! No additional drive installs, dinking around with display and monitor setting on the Surface Book Windows 10 with 2017 Fall Creators Ed. And it works the same way with my Surface Pro 3 Windows 10 2017 Fall Creators Ed. No technical knowledge needed. Even my 84 year old mother could set this device up. Cheers

Absolutely great plug and play gadget.
Absolutelly good. I had no issues with this little monster. I read in some posts that other brand had issues when one monitor is off, or setting the very first time the multidisplay adapter, but I had nothing but plug and play. And I didn't know, but once I plugged this in my descktop, my intel Iris chip offered me several options to customize displays. Love it.
