So far this is certainly looking promising; after 2 years of very little interest from the birds in previous, suspended, window feeders, this one has attracted return visits from a blue tit and two sparrows within a few days of attaching it to the window at my mother’s sheltered accommodation apartment. She was so delighted when she caught sight of the first one that she rang me especially! Here’s hoping news spreads within the local bird community, though we know these things can take time. My visits haven’t yet coincided with those of the birds, so I haven’t been able to take a photo with one in situ, but about a third of the seed I put out a few days ago has already gone and seeds have been deposited in the nearby drinker.In terms of construction it is very apparent that, whilst refreshingly simple, a great deal of thought and care has gone into the design of this product - the acrylic is thicker, more robust and much clearer than the type you often come across and it definitely offers a large and pretty much unimpeded view of any visiting birds. Having followed exactly the instructions for applying the suckers to the window, the main body of the feeder feels as though it is stuck like glue and we love the removable seed tray; it will make cleaning & refilling so easy. We did take the precaution of soaking the suckers in fairly hot water to make them more malleable before fitting them into the keyhole-shaped holes on the outer frame, as they are a very tight fit & required some care to push them into position without damaging either them or the rest of the feeder; however, once in place, they make the whole unit very secure.We did think twice about the cost, but are sure this feeder will give a lot of pleasure - to both birds & humans - over many years, so concluded it was worth the investment. Having taken Homebird up on their offer within the accompanying booklet of some free bird-seed, we found Elliott to be really helpful and genuinely interested in the success of the product for customers and birds alike.

When you start to open the box, You can tell this is a real good product, Made from premium materials and packed securely, The presentation is key.The window feeder has a tray which you can take out with ease to wash and fill with goodies for our featured friends, Also has a nice grippy pirch.Once I wiped the glass over and stuck it to the window, I knew this was not going to fall off, The suction pads are also real good quality and you get a spare in the box.I have had my feeder up for over a month now in all weathers and it has not moved.If you register your feeder with the company which involves taking a picture of the item on the window, They will send you a free bag of bird seed, However I am still waiting for mine.It has taken a month for my first visitor to the feeder, so don’t expect instant birdies.A real nice item, fantastically made, and definitely worth paying the extra for.

Brilliant quality well worth the money - 10/10This is the review -I was pleasantly surprised at how well this window feeder is made! The suckers are strong and sturdy on the window and the roof is cleverly designed to deter birds from landing on the top (which destroyed my last cheap feeder).POSITIVES- There is a portable tray with a divider in the middle for testing different seeds. so easy to use when stocking up as we don't have awkwardly dismantle / remove the whole unit.- The thing I love most about this bird feeder is that birds actually seem to enjoy spending time at the tray, taking their time picking at seeds and having a good ol munch, rather than just dashing off with their dinners.- The back of the feeder is OPEN (instead of being covered by plastic) so that you get a wide angled clear view of every bird in all it's glory.- Literally no installation needed at all! It comes in a beautiful gift looking box (and then wrapped in Amazon packaging) which you simply unbox and press it against the window. No faffy bits.NEGATIVES- Honestly i've struggled to find it's cons. It doesn't have a water tray which I thought would be a nice little addition but not essential.- It doesn't have a safety rope like some cheaper ones do. But at the moment there are no signs of it coming off with the 4 strong stuckers so im not too concerned about this one.CONCLUSION:Fantastic value for money and great for anyone either stuck indoors, doesn't have a garden, or doesn't want to venture to the bottom of the garden for viewing. Its an amazing way for bringing birds closer to the house and im sure its the same birds that are coming almost daily now. It's much more robust and visually stunning than the smaller made cheaper ones out there.There is so much joy to be had for all of the family. If you live in an area that already attracts the birds then I would say one of these is a must if you're able to afford it! If it's out of your price range but you're still a bird lover then I would still recommend getting a window bird feeder either way.I have already recommended the homebird to family and friends!

Very easy to set up – this super-stylish birdfeeder is a must for bird lovers. I bought this for a relative who was bedbound for a short while and positioned it on the second-floor bedroom window – it brought so much joy seeing the birds landing on it at such close quarters. The suction pads have proven to be strong – it withstood the weight of a hefty woodpigeon, which somehow managed to squeeze onto it.And best of all, it's pretty much squirrel-proof, depending on where you place it.Overall, a great design and at a great price!
