Kicker 47KSC404 KS Series 4" Coaxial Speakers with .5" Tweeters, 4ohm

Great little speakers.

These replaced the crummy old paper speakers in the sound bar of my 1993 Jeep Wrangler YJ. Those had completely deteriorated, with warped paper cones, and foam rubber surrounds that had almost totally disintegrated. So compared to those, these Kickers are fantastic!But what I really like are the fact these are low RMS (15-75 watts), meaning the original Jeep AM/FM tape deck I have has no problem powering it since it produces 20W/channel. I could install an amp, but why bother when these sound so good?No, they don't come with grilles, despite what the product description says. That was no problem for me, since I wanted to reuse the original grilles in the sound bar to keep it looking stock. These Kicker speakers fit perfectly, their low profile size had no problem clearing the factory grilles and the hole spacing lined up perfectly. I didn't have to drill anything! I attached photos to show how discreet they look behind the factory grilles.They do come with speaker wires that has spade terminals already attached, as well as butted crimp connectors for hooking it into your existing wiring.These were a little expensive, but I didn't buy a 27 year old jeep because I thought restoring it was gonna be a cheap hobby. I'm very happy with these speakers overall and am excited to replace the dash speakers with some Kickers this weekend!

Put these in the roll bar on a 2022 jeep gladiator sport with the Uconnect 7 in screen. Sounds a bit Louder than stock and a bit more crisp. Really straight forward install. You do need to snap off the 4 tabs and use the 3 screw connector to get a good fit. I also picked up the mopar speaker wire harness so I didn’t need to cut up factory wires. Overall happy with the outcome.

I'm testing these vs the infinity reference 4 Inch. The kickerers need less power but are 4 ohm when the infinity are 100 watt but are 3 ohm so it's should have been somewhat similar. The kickers have more bass and more warm sound but tge infinity are louder high and a little too bright. I'm using these are dash speakers so bass isn't really a need for me so I'm gling to keep the infinity for now and once I test them with more power I'll see.

I was replacing speakers in a arcade unit and I wanted a two-way, flush face speakers and these fit perfect! The tweeter is flush to the frame but it also includes a 1/8 inch spacer to be sure the speaker surround does not make contact with the surface I mounted them to. They sound great & meet what I would expect from a 4 inch speaker- Clear highs down to mids, some bass but a speaker that small is not going to produce much bass.

Amazing sound

Adapters that come with speakers do NOT line up with BMW doors however you can still make them work just in a different way. Installed these in front doors of 2018 530i and they would not fit mounting to door itself due to depth issues with the window track. However mounting it reverse to the back of door panels worked perfectly. See photo 👍

Speakers sounds great. There isn't much bass but that is to be expected with such a small speaker.I bought 2 pairs for my 2022 Bronco. 2 in the dash and 2 in the rear pods.
