Good frame protector

It works to protect the carbon frame from being over-tensioned when on the bike carrier. Fits well and works as it should

Expensive for what it is but easy to fit and I assume it protects my frame.

As others have said, this should come standard with thule carriers now however, I bought my roof carriers ridiculously cheap second hand so I can't really grumble about buying it but if I'd got them new I'd be annoyed at the extra purchase. The product itself is great though, very solid and protects the fragile carbon frame from the crushing pressure (which is the carbon frames weakness) on the bike rack. I leave it in place on the bike when I'm riding and you forget it's there.

This little device, although on the face of it a bit expensive, Is an absolute "must have" to protect your Carbon Frame. Although the Thule bike rack standard securing grips seem soft, they do still mark your frame. This device eliminates that completely. So well worth the money to protect a +£5k Bike!

Helps to protect the frame of a carbon bike. Does exactly what it says it does and helps protect the frame. A small price to pay when you pay all that money for a carbon frame. Purchased a second one as so easy to use.

Just used these on our first long trip with the bikes on a Thule Outway rack. Thanks to this protector, the clamp came off and somehow left a deep scratch in the bike frame, which is gutting as it is a new carbon bike. The rack instructions say not to use any straps etc. Well, I'm glad I used some bungees as these were all that was keeping bike secured. At the price of these protectors I would have expected them to work better. I'm not sure I want to risk using them again and might just go for a cloth around the frame. I am guessing that if the width at the jaws of the clamp is smaller than the frame then it won't come off even if its not fully tightened. But, be warned: secure you bike with extra straps.
