I am really satisfied with this wedge pillow. I have sciatica and my physical therapist suggested that I try elevating my legs at a 90-degree angle to alleviate pain so I could sleep. It's very difficult to achieve this angle with regular pillows. I finally decided I had to get serious about something that would work and this does! I have a very comfortable pillow that helps me to elevate my legs to an angle that works for my condition. It's great to have a tool that means that after I have done my exercises to reduce my pain I can go to sleep without my position in bed undoing all my exercise work. The pillow is the size indicated and only took a couple of hours after unpacking it from its squished packaging to plump up and reach its maximum size. I haven't had it very long so I haven't had occasion to clean the cover yet so I can't comment on how easy it is to take off and wash. I would definitely order again based on my experience so far.Added later: This pillow has retained its shape, firmness, and size. The cover is easy to remove and clean. It's still doing its job for my pain! I love it.

I just started using the pillow to help with GERD and snoring. The good news is that it works wonders! I haven't had any painful reflux while using the pillow, and my husband reports that my snoring has stopped (when I'm fully on the pillow). The not so good news, is that it takes getting used to i.e. I slip down the slope during the night, my normal pillow is too fat to use with the wedge, and I feel that I need some extra neck support.I just borrowed my husband's buckwheat pillow last night, and I think this might be the perfect combination for me.Bottom line, I will continue using the wedge because it does prevent painful reflux and it helps my husband to sleep more soundly. I'll keep making the necessary adjustments.

Must have after leg/knee injury or surgery. Lightweight. Easy to move around from room to room. Great washable cover that withstands multiple washings. Makes recovery at home so much easier. Great product. As a nurse and a multiple knee surgery patient, I highly recommend

Update 7/15/22:I loved this wedge pillow so much, I ordered a second one (see original review below). This 2nd one is a one-star product, and is being returned. This wedge will not expand to its full & proper size, nor will it attain its proper shape; the thin end of the wedge is permanently curled up. The blue foam is hard and it’s as if it is glued to the foam wedge and pressed into the glue, rendering the blue “cooling foam” useless, flat, and hard. It feels like a heavy and uneven coating of blue paint. This 2nd purchase Is defective & worthless. The first was perfect, which is why I’m so peeved.I’m adjusting my rating to 3 stars. It’s a crap-shoot. 5 perfect stars for the first one & 1 horrible star for this second purchase.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I’ve been diagnosed with mild sleep apnea but I’m not ready to commit to a CPAP machine. I have also noticed some increasing reflux episodes. So I’m trying to figure out ways to work against gravity in those two areas. I chose this 10” wedge pillow and a 12” one as well. I tried this 10” one first. Took a few nights to get used to just the concept of the wedge, but now I find this 10” wedge to be very comfortable. It is firm and supportive, but not hard. It inflated to full size and perfect shape in a few hours. I kept sliding down the slope of it for awhile, but that doesn’t seem to happen much anymore, either. I know it has stopped the reflux completely (no more antacids of any kind) for over a month now. I can take the Pepcid off my Subscribe & Save list! And hubby says there is no more snoring at all.As for the 12”, I don’t like it nearly as much as this wedge. In fact, I really don’t like it at all!I think I’ll buy another of this wedge: one for the RV and one for our bed at home. Highly Recommended.

Purchased for my pregnant clients to give them some much needed support. Pillow is sturdy, but feels comfortable . I love that I can take the cover off and wash it as needed. Clients say the height is great and they love the support it gives them.

Perfect incline for me recovering from esophageal surgery and need incline to prevent possible acid reflux. My regular pillow goes on top and I only need the one pillow instead of two. I’ve slept on my back and on both sides comfortably. This was perfect size. Anything else would’ve been too big.(I sleep on a queen size bed). Price was right and even though it said to air out for 24 hrs I never smelled anything from the foam or materials it was made out of.
