I really don’t know everything that I can do with this kitchen prep model. I’ve basically used it for smoothies and that is all. I’m thinking i will try and make home made peanut butter and see if that will work. I will say that you CAN NOT put the pitcher in the dishwasher because the heat/dry cycle will melt the glue that keeps the bottom of the blade. I didn’t know this , and when i lifted it out and went to put it back onto my power base, the bottom piece that controls the blades fell off. There was still glue residue present on both the rotator and be part that controls the blades , I thought maybe if it dried it would seal it back together. No luck. So I had to invest in a replacement part. Seems like Ninja should use industrial strength glues to hold up in dishwashers. I didn’t see where it said it could not be put in the dishwasher. Expensive lesson. Otherwise it makes awesome smoothies.

This blender cuts through anything!! I literally put a few big rocks in this blender and it legit turned them to small pebbles and sand. I mostly use it for cutting up fruit to turn into smoothies but I tested it on rocks just to see how much power it really has and was blown away. It's light weight and fits perfectly on my shelving unit. It is easy to clean and smells fresh every time I make something. The plastic material used is the thick high quality kind not the cheap thin kind. I would buy this blender again and wish I could give it 10 stars instead of 5. If Ninja has any other items they want me to test, feel free to send them to me any time!

yes it will. It is literally as simple as press the button to make blades spin. I waited to review this machine until I had put it to the test! I have to say, it is the BEST mixer I have ever owned. The blade is impressive! It does exactly what you want it to do. I have particular taste and texture preferences, and this machine delivers every time. Sometimes I like a fluffy, airy drink (Cafe frappe) and it comes out perfect. Other times I like the slushier version, like a fruit smoothie. The green juice I make daily also comes out perfectly blended. The 72 oz capacity is more than I need, but there are times when I have guests and if I want to make a special desert sorbet, I can do a large quantity and then put it in the freezer. Same with cream soup, I made a butternut squash batch and it was silky smooth. I have to say, Ninja has become my go to brand for so many kitchen appliances. Quality is excellent and functionality exceeds expectations. I am happy to give 5+++ stars.

This is my 1st blender and I had to get the Ninja (as soon as it was on sale). I’ve had it for a couple months now and it works very well. The noise is pretty loud to me, so it is startling at first but I’m used to it now. I mainly use it to make smoothies (frozen & fresh fruit), made a milkshake & frozen margaritas once each. It is taller and wider than an electric tea kettle (for reference) so I keep it in the cabinet as it won’t fit on my kitchen counters. It is a great value for the money (I did get the insurance offered at checkout just in case).

Crazy design flaw if you throw the container in the dish washer upside down. It can collect food debris in the outer corners, where the black plastic caps cover. Be sure to check for nasty stuff.Otherwise great! Blends very well.

It took a while to learn how all the moving parts go together and work but my goodness: this blender is the best! I used to have an Oster I loved with a smoothie setting but I broke the glass container after many years. I had to replace seals a couple of times. There are no separate seals with the Ninja. I forgot the 3-tiered blade insert a few times (hard to blend w/o blades) but once I got it--it chews up whole frozen strawberries in my daily smoothie. The settings make it automatic. with its settings.

Excellent blender. So easy to clean. LOVE that the blades are easily removed. I handwash all of it in warm water. It makes my smoothies quickly and I never have to pause the blender to scrape down ingredients as I have had to do with previous blenders. I appreciate the cord storage on the back of the machine. I also like that are are few buttons. There’s no need to complicate kitchen accessories.
