Quick and easy to set up. Good range
Very easy to set up and can now access WiFi in our back garden. We already had a TP Link router so it was easy to use the app.

Worth getting even for a small boost.
Been using it for about a week now and apart from 1 inexplicable dropout for 10 minutes has been working a treat! Below are some before and after speed tests I did with my phone from different rooms in the house. ISP is BeFibre with the router in my office, as you can see the router they provide has a good wired connection speed but pretty poor wifi already. Without the booster, and depending how far you are, the wifi speeds are abysmal.Wired connection to my computer - Download 522mb / Upload 533mbOffice (near main router) - D127 / U54Connected to booster.Front room - Before (D25 / U50) - After (D138 / U49)Dining room - Before (D13 / U48) - After (D130 / U49)Living room - Before (D72 / U44 - After (D127 / U49)Bedroom - Before (D36 / U11) - After (D134 / U49)Next to booster - D134 / U53Furthest corner of house from main router - D110 / U33So overall it seems to top out at around 130-140mb download and 50mb upload but definitely increases the range, and without the booster I cant even get a connection in the furthest room.

Definitely Works!
This tp-link AX1500 Wi-Fi Range Extender has solved our problem. We recommend it. We live in a 3-bedroom flat, with one bedroom used as an office to work from home so signal strength and reliability are critical. Last month we changed our broadband provider and router equipment from Virgin to Sky. The signal in the office got worse which was unexpected as it is not far away but there are two room doors and some furnishings which may obstruct. I was having issues, sluggish, freezing on Zoom calls, audio cut outs, unable to swiftly load multiple tabs/pages. Using the Windows Command prompt, I took over 45 readings of the signal strength coming into the laptop over four weeks. The signal strength was below 69% over half the time and never higher than 81%-85% and then only very infrequently. Since getting the AX1500, all readings at all times with all doors shut are above 90% (92%-97%). My work laptop is faster, snappier, and no more cutting out on Zoom calls. The extender device was super easy and fast to set up. I was happy to be a little surprised that this extender works so well, exceeding my expectations - as some of the other reviews were not as positive and it made me hesitant to purchase for a week or two, until the poor performance forced me to take a chance and buy it. I am so glad I did. I hope your experience with it will be a positive as ours.

feeling hot hot hot
Quality wise I found the product became worryingly hot when in use, I would not trust leaving it plugged in unattended. It also didnt function very well when connected to my TP-Link AXE5400. I planned to use the TP-Link AXE5400 downstairs as the main router and the extender upstairs , Signal strength was poor considering the router was directly beneath the extender, I found streaming no better than if i directly connected to the router. I wouldn't say it was good value for money as its priced around the same as a router which could do the same job.

Easy to set up RE815XE
I had read some reviews about the RE815XE and was a bit apprehensive given the price, but I kept an eye out for it to come on sale and bought it.The TP-Link AXE5400 router is great and was suited to my needs. Large old house, a lot of brick or stone walls internally. However having my home internet upgraded from 30MB to 500MB due to a new fiber link (I had the option of up to a 1.6GB/s fiber link, this seemed overkill for me so I opted for the 500MB/s).Due to the internet upgrade I was going to need something more than a strong 2.5ghz signal given the increase in bandwidth. The RE815XE has brought a strong 5.2ghz band across the whole house - partlly because its a really good piece of kit and partly because I was fortunate to be able to position it really well.Highest speed I can get in my office with fiber is 80MB without the RE815XE, with it installed I have not yet found a capacity limit for a 500MB fiber connection. Latency has not been an issue either as I usually play 40K DarkTide and other FPS online games and have not had an issue with latency. For some reason I have never detected a WiFi 6 connection despite my PC and mobile phone being capable of using it, on either the AXE5400 or the RE815XE. I have read elsewhere that in the UK the WiFi 6E on this model is used as a backhaul in order to increase bandwidth capacity. I am unsure how accurate this is, I just know that the RE815XE has allowed me to make the most out of my new fiber connection and I have no issues in recommending it.Just wait for it to come on sale as it is a good, though pricey bit of kit.

Improves the wi fi reach in my house
I haven't opened the box yet. I have two of these links working in the house already. They do a great job. Our house has solid walls (which resist wi fi signals - but using the links strategically positioned, our wireless wi fi reaches all the rooms in strength
