Sturdier than my actual desk
Good build quality, this thing is sturdy. It assembled easily and works as advertised. The sliding mechanism requires some force to push and pull, which is a good thing, since it means your keyboard won't slide away from you while typing rapidly. Because it's so hefty, typing on it causes my small, relatively lightweight desk to shake a little bit, so this would be better for a larger and sturdier desk.

Easy to set up
Purchased this for my adjustable work from home desk. Great quality and fit perfectly under desk to pull out to type . It glides smoothly and functions the way it’s supposed to!

Fine keyboard tray if you're using a narrow keyboard
The headline pretty much says it all. This keyboard tray is perfectly sufficient but only if you're either using a narrow keyboard or have a separate tray for the mouse. This tray will not be big enough for a full sized keyboard and a mouse. I use the regular Apple Magic Keyboard without number pad and it fits the keyboard and Apple Magic Mouse perfectly. The tray does require basic assembly that is fairly easy to do. My only complaint is that one side of the tray is very difficult to slide in and out, but I guess that isn't a terrible thing since it means the tray doesn't slide when I'm using it. The tray itself is made from very thick plastic with just a little bit of texture, and the rails and brackets are made of very thick, matte black metal. I was glad I went with the smaller tray versus the full sized one since this one is sufficient for my needs and was able to fit under my desk. It arrived on the day expected and was packaged well. The entire tray assembly weighs around 7 pounds or so, so this is not something that you would want to put on an extremely light or flimsy desk. I would highly recommend this to someone who needs a keyboard tray that won't require altering the desk. The clamps are very large and noticeable but there's not anything you could do about that, they have to be large to hold on to the desk securely.Note: If you have a desk with a bar across the middle (I have an IRONCK desk that I bought on Amazon), like I do, it may still work fine; it worked for me. The thickness of the desk and the bar together was exactly 2" and the bar was wide enough to have the clamp on it so it worked out just fine for me. Measure carefully before you buy this tray for a desk with a bar across it because it just barely worked for me. I think that they say 2.1" is the maximum thickness that the tray can be used with and it's definitely true; there isn't any wiggle room at all on that.

Works and easy to install
The media could not be loaded. After finding a level surface, I had this put together and installed in about 10 minutes (I lay out all parts and hardware, count them, label them as needed, then read the instructions first).I was confused as to why the box was smaller than 20”, but upon opening, I found the tray was in 2 pieces with bars and hardware to connect them. I honestly didn’t look too closely at the pictures or description so that’s my bad.Pros:-it works-was easy to install-it fits my keyboard and wrist cushionCons:-picture #4 shows there’s a small gap between the 2 tray pieces when put together… it bothered me from the time I connected them until I put my keyboard on it. With the keyboard stop on there as well, it became “out of sight, out of mind”-its not a gentle slide (I may have been spoiled by my IKEA dresser though so this may be normal? 🤷🏽‍♀️)-picture #2 shows how far out it sits on the first 2 holes. BUT!!!! This is because there’s resistance if I push it all the way in and when I start pulling it out. I don’t like that. So I’ll leave it like this.

Ergonomic and sturdy in a small package
I did not figure on working from home when I rented this apartment. There’s not a whole lot of extra room, but with this teeny (34” wide) desk, I was able to carve out a couple of square feet in my bedroom. The only problem with that is that at something like 19” deep, there really wasn’t room for my monitors AND keyboard to be at an optimal position. Luckily I found this keyboard tray. Now I am not a person who can be trusted with power tools, so I needed a clamp on tray. As others had mentioned, this was the smallest tray available. I did not have high hopes when I ordered, especially considering all of the comments about receiving the wrong size screws. I also figured it would be a little flimsy, but be OK in the short term. This keyboard tray is sturdier than I expected! In fact, it’s less rickety than some I’ve had professionally installed in previous workplaces. And although I did order a separate bunch of screws (around $6) just in case, The correct screws were included in the package and I did not need to use them. The tray itself just barely fits (I’ve included a picture of where the clamp knob is seated, causing it to bump the desk leg when tightening). I use an ergo mouse, so when the tray is extended, I scootch the keyboard over a bit to make room, and I have to remove my mouse to push the tray back under the desk. It’s not perfect, but it’s pretty good. It puts the keyboard at the right height for me, and allows me to sit further away from the monitors. I would not hesitate to recommend this product, and when I get a bigger desk, I will probably get the larger tray from the same brand. I’ll save the screws just in case.

Works, even for desks with lips
The underside of my work desk has a lip that I thought would make this impossible to set up as I thought the clamp would slide off attempting to tighten it on but it stuck and its sturdy. I measured the width to make sure it wouldn't bump into my underdesk cabinet hence why I had to get the smaller one. Then I had to replace my regular keyboard with a tenkeyless ergonomic one because it was too small to fit my keyboard and mouse together and now it's perfect. I was overdue for getting an ergonomic keyboard anyway. I'm happy with my purchases.

20 in. Version Doesn't Fit Trackball Mouse
I like Vivo products generally but wish the narrower tray wasn't also a different height/distance from the underside of the desk. My mouse fits fine for the standard size Vivo trays, but not for the 20 in. version.
