THIS HAS A GREAT TASTE AND THE BEEF JERKY IS EXCELLENT.MOST OF THE PIECES ARE EASY TO CHEW BUT ON OCCASION I EAT A PIECE THAT IS TOO HARD TO CHEW.WHEN I OPEN THE PACKAGE, I FIND IT HARD NOT TO FINISH EVERYTHING.IN SUM, I FEEL IT IS A GREAT PRODUCT SINCE IT IS GLUTEN FREE,HAS NO SUGAR AND NO CARBS.ERIK HUNTER

Like Death Valley - Hot and Dry
The jerky is VERYYYY dry. The driest jerky I've ever had. I've tried maybe 30 brands of BEEF and many jerkies made from other animals. So freaking dry. BUT the flavor makes up for it. It's pretty spicy. I like my food to dramatically hurt me and this is maybe a tiny bit less spicy than what I like. And of course that macros are nice too since it doesn't have sugar. Despite the dryness, I probably will by again.

Very tasty, but too salty
Very high quality, flavorful smoked jerky, w/ a wonderfully chewy texture and health conscious ingredients, but the sodium level at 600mg is way too high, even though I enjoy salty foods.

My 14 years old teenager tried various of brands and this is his favorite one so far.

Hit or miss honestly
First off the flavor was phenomenal. It was a very subtle teriyaki flavor with some woodsy after notes to the flavor. It was all very subtle (which is what I personally prefer) and not in your face so the meat flavor could shine through. The flavor is what really made it for me, BUT everything else about this snack was below average.As someone on keto, it is extremely hard to find snacks I like that are low carb and also sugar free. I've had Tilamook's smoked a sausage meat before (a total recommendation btw) and so I thought to give this a try. Glad I did, but also not entirely sure I would order again. The only reason I would give this a try again would be due to it being extremely keto friendly, but here are the negatives I had.Texture - The texture was all over the place for me. Some pieces were very dry to the point where it cumbled in my mouth, some were so hard they almost felt like plastic, and some pieces were incredibly tender. A majority was on the drier side of the spectrum. I tend to like my jerky more on the tender side so that would have made it perfect.Amount - There wasn't a whole lot in the bag and it was over $10. Now I know jerky is expensive so I won't fault the price but it just didn't seem like a big bang for the buck sort of deal.The worst part of this was alot of the jerky was ground up into a fine powder. You can see from the pictures I provided that there wasn't really a whole lot of decent sized actual jerky pieces in the bag which was disappointing. Maybe I just got a bad bag. I may try the other flavors at some point in hopes that not all the bags will be like this, but to be honest was pretty disappointed.Overall, from what I could eat of this, I loved the flavor and not much else. Can only give this 3 stars. It's not the worst but wish there would have been more actual jerky pieces in the bag for the price.
