I can't believe how well it works. I read so many tutorials on book making and everyone says how hard it is to get foil to stay on leather, but 3 pieces in and this thing has firmly stuck the foil on all the leather. It's very easy to use. Just a few minutes to heat up and then it can press foil into many different things. It's top notch.

This little device is AWESOME. New to bookbinding, I needed something to put titles and things on the books and this is the prefect tool. I've also started putting everyone's names in the family on their Bibles. Love it! As I'm learning which surfaces it works best on we're going to see a bunch of foil lettering on things all over the house.

The pen set is very good, very useful, I can recommend it to everyone. Easy to handle, do not warm up, and 5-6 years old girl can work very well with it. It can also be drawn with freehand, but with virtually any cut template ...

I adore these. Although there is a bold version I wish there was a pen thicker still for projects that have a lot of fill space. It takes forever to fill just with the bold, especially if u want a crisp image or graphic. I recommend using these with a battery bank, makes it easier to use and manipulate. Not all of the foil transfers after one go. Areas that are missing foil you can overlay another sheet to make it pop. Have stable hands if your going for perfection, otherwise buy the die cut machine version. I got these because I don’t always want to sit at a computer or pull out my Cricut.

I use it with my phone's power bank so that I can work on top of my desk, and it has good results whether I'm using it freehand on top of the foil directly or through a piece of paper.

Purchased this to do foil decorating for cloth book covers, but the foil did not want to work on the cloth.

This is great for when I want a little bit of foil on my crafting projects but I don't want to bring out my entire foiling machine and make a whole process, I can actually freehand what I want foiled and it heats up easily in 5 minutes. Just by USB plug, it came. With some foil and pretty easy to store. I have mine stored in a small plastic container that is also available on Amazon, but mainly. I like this because it's super easy to use. No technical skills required.
