A Good Deal
I really like these Russell sweatpants. For as inexpensive as they were, I thought they’d be a lot lighter but they’re good, strong sweatpants. They’re comfortable and clean up well. I’m very pleased with this purchase.

Very nice sweatpants. The inseam length increases with the waist size!
I needed more sweatpants and had a couple of this Russell Athletic brand already at home (can't remember where I got them, maybe at Target or some other store, some years back), but there were so many posted complaints here on Amazon about sewing defects and the drawstring that I thought about ordering one of the other brands that had higher ratings and fewer complaints. However, the problem was that it was nearly impossible to find out what the inseam length was for most of these other brands. I eventually concluded that most of these other better rated sweatpants came at a fixed inseam length, regardless of the waist size, around 31 inches or so. I'm pretty tall, and that wasn't going to work for me, so I decided to stick with this Russell Athletic brand and get several more. I usually wear XL waist and the 33" inseam for the XL is about right for me.I haven't so far encountered any of the sewing defects or problems with the drawstring that others have posted about. There is an elastic waistband on these sweatpants that is usually enough on me to keep the pants from falling down so that I don't have to use the drawstring. The pants pockets are also a nice feature, although I don't usually use them. So, these sweatpants deserve a higher rating, as far as I'm concerned. This latest batch came marked Made in Honduras.

Great casual pants for around the house.
I had a little trouble getting these sweat pants, they ended up being 2 days late. But, once I received them, I have been wearing them every chance I get. I bought them mostly for just hanging out at the house, and they are perfect for that. I read some reviews about the elastic in the ankle being too tight, but I haven't had any trouble with that. The only problem with the fit that I have, is that they seem a little short in the waist. Now this may be a result of my build, so I'm not going to blame it on the pants. I bought the extra large, and it is supposed to fit waists between 40 and 42 inches (I couldn't find a size chart when I ordered these). I am not having any problems with these pants fitting my waist, my problem is, when I sit down, the waist line in the back drops down. I am about 5'11" and around 250 pounds. I have large thighs, and my back end is not tiny. I just don't think that they put enough material in these pants to cover that much real estate. The pants fit okay in my thighs (they are not baggy....and they don't look like yoga pants on me), but like I said, when I sit down, they pull down. If I end up ordering another pair, I might go up one more size just to be sure. By the way, with the length, they are just about right. I guess if you stretch them a little at the bottom, they will work as matching slippers with your pants. Also, these are not super warm and cozy. The fabric is relatively thin so you will probably have a tough time getting overheated for 9 months out of the year. By the way, I am wearing those pants right now as I am writing this review...Just saying'. So, if you are looking for a casual pair of pants to knock around the house with, these fit the bill pretty much.

Durable and comfy!
In recent years it has been so difficult to walk into a store to find any type of bottoms that were not “skinny” style. I for one hate this skinny legged trend i have big calves and have always had them. These sweat pant are thick, comfy and well made. Brings me back to the 90’s style sweats. I’m definitely buying more.

Good quality, nice solid color
I bought L and XL, the difference being XL fits taller people 6'0" and up but it does add more baggyness

Draw string issues.
I have worn Russell Athletic Dri-Power Fleece Sweatpants for 20 plus years in 1 countries and I have never seen such poor quality as these. 1st pair wore them 3 times and draw string went. Well sad to say every NEW style pair all have the draw string gone in them. Russell seams to be going down hill or they are finding places to make them at very bad spots as it wouldn't take much during them being made to double or triple stitch the string. What a waist of money and honestly my old pairs even 1 pair from 16 years ago has lasted longer then these. Think twice on these and no it isn't just a bad batch as I bought many new pairs this last year and they ALL have the same issue as the draw string pops on the back where they attach them. Just a thought maybe use a draw string that circles the entire sweat pants instead of sowing them in the back seams. Pathetic and shocked I have worn Russell Athletic Dri-Power Fleece Sweatpants for 20 plus years in 2 countries and I have never seen such poor quality as these. 1st pair wore them 3 times and draw string went. Well sad to say every NEW style pair all have the draw string gone in them at the same place. What a waist of money and honestly my old pairs even 1 pair from 16 years ago has lasted longer then these. Russell Athletic is not Athletic wear at all now. BEWARE All 6 pairs in under a year all broken with the same issue. The draw string comes out with very little force.

I think they're knock offs
I don't think that they are genuine Russell sweats or sweatshirts. These pill after the first wash. My other Russell sweats lasted for years and no peeling.
