The media could not be loaded. Seems to be genuine and came with genuine replacement pins though I just reused the ones from the original bracelet since they are loose after removing it from the watch. Nice to have some spares if needed.I wish that the strap was offered in a short version with a fourth ripple since it is unlikely I’ll ever use it with a dive suit.The rubber seems of high quality. Kind of wish it were offered in a softer silicon version. Comfortable to wear as is though. Looks very good. Fantastic value at about $25. Local shop wanted nearly $60

I have looked closely at this band and it appears to be a genuine Seiko band. The band was in a plastic slip that says, SEIKO, 4FY8JZ, BAND CHINA. I know that Japan now manufactures products in China so I don't think that it is a problem that the band is made in China instead of Japan. Also, in the package are the "fat pins" that are larger in diameter to fit the band exactly but you can use your original pins if you want. The band is a little stiff but I know it will soften after wear. I'm not sure why it's called "curved line" unless it means the "waves" on the band. Looking closely at the band edgewise, it appears to be bonded two layers with a smoother layer on top and a stronger looking plastic on the bottom layer. This appears to be genuine design.

I received a different Seiko strap from the one pictured. It did seem to be a genuine OEM Seiko band (or a believable high quality reproduction), but the wavy portion near the spring bars was straight perpendicular to the spring bars. Not the aesthetic I was looking for. Returned for a different product.

Replacement band for my venerable SKX-173. Over decades of diving and daily wear, this watch has seen many bands. This one is as good as it gets. If it is not an original SEIKO, it is as close as it gets. Yes, a bit stiff to start, unlike the old OEM bands, but it softens and fits quickly. This band seems to last about 3 years before it starts that pesky cracking process, and this is my second one. Good band, good price. I bought a back-up, for the next time, in case it is not available...

While the watch band is a Seiko watch band and looks like the original it feels more plastic than rubber less comfortable than the original band. I will keep and use the band I find it underwhelming.
