I bought this heating pad to help with a flare up in lower back pain. It gets HOT! One side is warm (with the foam insert), the other side is hot (without foam insert on this side). I like being able to choose which side I want to use based on how warm I want the heat to be. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and it noticeably helps to ease my tight muscles in lower back. If you read about heat therapy for back pain, it’s actually really good for breaking the pain and tightness cycle in non-acute injuries (you don’t want to use heat immediately after an injury on the first 2-3 days). Obviously consult with your physician for personalized recommendations. But for me, this has become a solid part of my back pain relief regimen. The size is great because it’s not too small and not too big, perfect for targeting a lot of heat to go to a small to moderate sized area. So far the quality seems good, still works great 2 weeks in. You absolutely cannot beat the price. I’ve already gotten $15 of use out of it in 2 weeks, so if it did break, I wouldn’t even be mad for how low the price is. I’m going to order a second one to keep at my work. No strange smell. There also isn’t a timer, it stays on, and the heat is strong and consistent on the high setting. The directions do say you’re not supposed to lay on it, but I do and haven’t had any problems. I just wouldn’t fall asleep with it on. Overall, a fantastic buy.

Two settings, both gets good heat, so I run the low while I sleep. I like the snap button that holds cover, simple but works good, unlike some other pads I have used before. And you can’t beat the price, having bought heating pads for over 20 years! The cord is not as long as other brands but I like that feature because I am usually pushing all the extra cord back.

Great product for the price!It definitely should have automatic turn off.I feel it represents a possible danger that it can be left on inevitably never turned itself off!

I love it love it my husband need it for work and when it arrives I decide to give it try,it’s so powerful and gets warm quick you can put behind your back and I have pain in my feet so I wrapped around my feet and I felt so good , I decide to keep it for myself and order another one for my husband I recommended.

Works as advertised. We were specific about the "no auto off" feature, which are hard to find. The low heatworks very good for us all night without getting too hot.

I had to buy another one of these because the first one stopped working within the first few weeks. Although it heats up pretty fast, is pretty easy to use, etc. I don't think this is a high quality product, and you truly get what you pay for.

It was timely delivered on vacation and much needed at end of day for a lumbar disc issue. Helpful. Perfect size and amount of heat for my needs

I am very satisfied with the heating pad. It took me a while to find on that did not automatically turn off and gets hot enough to satisfy my needs.
