Suited my violin.
Why did you choose this product over others?:I chose the violin shoulder rest because it matched well with my violin and is well constructed. It is comfortable to use helping me build my confidence in playing my violin.

What more do you want for £9.99?
For less than ten quid and with a mute (normally 4 or 5 quid on its own) you really can't complain. It's not that sturdy, the foam is spongey enough and more comfortable that playing without a rest anyway. If you're looking for the best rest you've ever used and want to keep it for the rest of your life (no pun intended) then this probably isn't the one for you....for a part time player as a hobby its perfect for what I want to use it for.

Very good shoulder rest
I was surprised for the price, but this shoulder rest works very well. I like the way it tilts to the most comfortable and secure position, and the way the legs fold to make it easier to fit in the case with the violin. Even with these features it is still remarkably stable and secure. It is not prone to falling off. Each leg has three positions.

Great inexpensive shoulder rest
Great quality for the price. Easily adjustable and feels secure on the violin. The foam padding is a little firm and thin compared to a more expensive rest, but is still comfortable to use. The mute also works well.

Buy cheap, buy twice
Terrible product. I was convinced by the reviews this was a great bargain - it's not.The shoulder rest is awful - it slips constantly and it doesn't hold the angle. I had to keep adjusting it every 5 minutes. Ended up getting myself a proper rest.The mute is actually not so bad. It does the job, but it's very plastic-y and cheaply made (you can see some plastic bits that weren't properly cut).All in all, you'd be better off investing your money on proper products.

Good value for money but not as good as well known brands
Got this to replace one that broke. The previous one is from a well known brand. This one feels less sturdy but for now it is doing the job.
