WOW,
EDIT I have been using this flash for a little while now, and I really like it. I just got a second one that came today, now I have 2 of these to use off camera and I just trigger them with the flash that is built into my camera. my only complaint is the first one came with a really nice padded carrying case, the second one came with a flimsy bag to store the flash in. I was expecting the second to come with a nice carrying case as well.If anyone is wondering how durable these are ( maybe I am just lucky ) I dropped the first flash that I bought a little while ago and it hit the ground hard, its still working, after it hit the ground it would not turn on at first because the impact bent the prongs that make contact with the battery, I got a screwdriver down inside and bent the prongs back and the battery's made good contact again, after doing that the flash turns on and functions perfectly and its been working great. it seems these are pretty durable and can take a hit or like I said maybe I was just lucky. it was up on my stand and I forgot to lock the flash onto the mount and when i moved the stand it just fell off and it was probably a good 6 foot drop.over all I am sill very happy with this product, I do wish the second one would have came with a nice carrying case like the first one did but I am still going to say these are well worth the money and its definitely a product that does what I need it to do---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------got the VK750 II last night , i only played with this for a few minutes and i am sure some of the other settings might come in handy, ill read the instructions today and see what all this can do. but last night i just slapped it on and it worked, pictures with a flash now look the way the should with out changing any settings on the flash or knowing how to use the flash. pics look so much better than they do with the stock flash on my D5300 in my how where light is often low.i started playing with the angle of the flash and the card and i guess that is a defuser that slides out but did not notice a huge difference, than i decided to hit the left and right button and i see that it changed how bright the flash fired, and i could make pictures look even better turned down one or two notches or i could make them look lousy if i turned it down to far.. i am sure there are quite a few more settings i can play with and what not but right out of the box with no clue how to use this thing i am a happy camper.as long as it is a quality product and last for a while i think i will be really happy with this. i cant compare it to the nikon speed light or any other brand but i cant imagine they wold work much better than this one does. the couple reviews i watched on youtube said this was basically just as good a really expensive nikon speed light. i cant imagine needing anything better than this, as long as it does not crap out on me any time soon. for the price you cant really go wrong i don't think, i have never heard of this brand before so i have not idea how long it will last but according the reviews it is a good flash and i am going to agree so far, but only time will tell.

Disappointing Changed to extremely satisfied..
I left the old review in place... there was problem with the battery door and Neewer replaced my item for one that worked, When comparing the two items side by side they were identical with the exception of the interior side of the battery door. two different items. So I had a lot of good to say about the flash and I like it even better now that it will hold battery's. So I have to give them five stars across the board. and excellent product that had a problem and thanks to the great customer service it was replaced and I am very happy.. I'm in sales and we move a lot of product, and sell enough items and there is bound to be a problem with something at some time. The only leg a company really has to stand on at that point is customer service and how well they take care of there customers when the inevitable happens and Neewer took care of me.. Based on that and usability of the product I say BUY. You'll be happy..Great flash, works great with one minor problem (huge problem). I had this set up and used it and had it in my bag.. took it out of it' case and the battery's fell out. The battery door will no longer close and stay locked with battery's in it. take the battery's out and it kind of closes but is fairly easy to pop open. I gave it one star for the quality of materials and design, and a second star because other than that I really like the flash. I'm tempted to solve the problem with duct tape (because I'm a guy) because I really do like the flash BUT I'm of the opinion that something as basic as a battery door on a flash, and important item in the photography world should work.. why is such a basic feature even an issue on a flash? going to try some different battery's and if it's just an issue with my current battery I will come back and revise this review but as for now? NOPE, Buyer beware...Maybe AA batteries are different where this was manufactured BUT so far American AA batteries are a no go? we will see...

New version
This is the set I got. It doesn't look like any of the other speedlite review photos for the same product both on Amazon and on other review sites. I got pretty worried the product I received wasn't genuine or was an older model (the cardboard box it came in looked like it would be from an older model) so I contacted both Amazon and Neewer to confirm this product is what I'm suppose to be getting. Amazon confirmed I got a genuine product and Neewer responded telling me that the NW750 speedlite recently got updated and I have the latest version. They also said there is no difference between the older and newer versions. That said, I did also order the NW760 that looks identical to the old NW750 version. I assume it functions similarly as well except for remote mode. The biggest difference I've noticed between the updated 750 and the (older?) 760 is that the 750's motor is no where near as loud as the 760. When I got the 760 it made so much noise when adjusting the zoom I thought it was broken and ordered a replacement to find that it was just like that normally. The 760 also over exposed my photos when in ttl mode consistently while the new 750 held up pretty well. While the 760 only came in a drawstring bag with nothing else, the updated 750 came in a sturdier padded speedlite case with a diffuser. For the money, I feel like the updated 750 is a better deal for the money. I like that they took the money out of packaging and invested in giving the user better accessories for the speedlite. What I don't like about the updated 750 is that it doesn't slip into the hotshoe easily. It's almost impossible to slide in and out even when completely untightened. The vertical rotation doesn't feel like it locks in at each angle as well as the 760. It's easier to maneuver but also feels like it could break easier too. Overall though, I'm enjoying the 750 much more than the 760.
