The best lamp for getting started! Lasted 3 years of consistent use!
This thing deserves every one of the five stars considering the price point. I bought this jisy over 3 years ago as a cheap lamp when I first started doing my own nails. I didn't want to invest a lot of money until I'd decided if I was going to stick with it. I fully expected a month or two use out of my little £8 lamp, and was okay with that....... 3 years later and I never did upgrade it. This little beast has seen some serious use over the last 3 years. I redo my set ever couple weeks and I'm always messing about on my practice hand in the evenings. It's also been used in my small UV resin projects. Ive used every kind of nail extention and color product and it's worked perfectly with them all. I'm pretty clumsy so it's been dropped and kicked, it's taken some beatings... and it still powered through. This week it's finally started to give up on me, after 3 years of grafting and honestly that's sorta sad. This little beast has taken me through from those first lumpy catastrophic messes of nail sets, up to the professional quailty looking ones I can do now. It's carried me from the start and it's sad to see it go. It still works, but it's a little temperamental so it's getting retired off now. Ive just ordered a new lamp and ive specifically went with a higher quality one from this brand because of how well this little £8 lamp served me.It does feel cheap, but that's because it is. The plastic is nasty, and it weighs nothing.... but they doesn't stop it working.I bought this expecting it to clunk out in a month or two, but just wanted something cheap to get started. The thing instead powered through 3 years without a single problem. I'd 100% recommend this to anyone starting out. I'm sure when my new one gets here, I'll be wondering why I stuck with the cheap one, but honestly this is the best budget lamp. If you're getting started, invest your money in quailty products and application tools while letting this little lamp carry you. It'll serve you well.Gonna miss mine now it's finally checked out on me. RIP

Does not work.
It doesn't work. At all. I guess that this is a lesson of "you get what you pay for". I tried four different gel polishes (all premium brand) and none of them cured, I followed the instructions to the letter, yet they all stayed sticky and liquid. I even tried curing for shorter and longer times but nothing happened. Don't waste your money; spend £30 and get one that actually works.

Has anyone had an irritation or is this just nails?
I have been using this since December, and for me, it was great, easy to use, very shiny the finish compared to the UV lamp I had before. I don't do my nails all the time, but the last couple times, it was really painful after application. I assumed this was the way I had prepped the nails. when removing the polish my nails were bad. But, did I learn my lesson! No! As was going on holiday and you know.Anyway, I did it despite the nail tips looking about three times the usual size on my little fingers. I wish I didn't the nails started to feel really painful, like pressure on the nail, then so itchy I had to peel them off int he night it was so intense. Then, when I removed after leaving this for two days, my nails are destroyed, looks like a fungal infection, or the nails are dead and need to fall off. Bu this is awful. I then tried on my toes, bought really good quality polish and again it's like a hive-like rash r reaction. I don't know if I have some contraindication, but am curious to see if anyone else has had this problem as it is strange and really quite horrible. if is the lamp causing this I would say avoid but I can't say for sure.

Best budget friendly lamp
I bought this back I August and only writing this now as I wanted to give it some time. I started doing my own nails and was looking for an inexpensive lamp and this fit that criteria, in addition to having enough watts to cure the gel polishes I bought. I have found this to be super easy to use and has no issues with curing; I always apply thin layers of polish as well as making sure to read how long I need to cure the gel from the bottle as each brand have different times for led and uv lamps. Please do read your polish bottles because if the gel is not curing properly it won’t be just the lamps fault; but also gel always leaves a sticky layer which you can get rid of by using rubbing alcohol. I do my nails weekly and in that time this lamp hasn’t faulted me one bit and it’s perfect
