Great addition to cage. Failed due to “user error” 😆
Cute concept, well assembled; however, this did not work for my conure. Perhaps for a smaller breed. My bird LOVED it at first but chewed through one of the bars (see picture).NOTE: To be fair, there was only one other distraction in his new cage at the time of the chewing. It may have been out of boredom. My advice is that you make sure there are more distractions when you add this one.I don’t intend for this to be a bad review, just factual. I may purchase a second one to add now that the rest of his toys are in place. Birds do tend to love mirrors.

Well constructed mirror...our birds love it!
This is a very well made bird mirror. My daughter has two parakeets and we initially had one mirror. They loved it so much that we got a second. We hooked theirs to the side of the cage so they don't swing. Beware though that they may sit on top and poop all over the wood and smear the mirror up. Definitely requires regular cleaning. Crazy birds! :-DPlease be aware that, over time, your birds may bite through the perch support pieces completely. Ours have taken the perch off of both of their mirrors. Once again, Crazy birds!!! ;-p

Cheaply Made
This is not well-made. I doubt it will last very long. The corners are not square and the hooks are not very securely attached. My canary loves it, but it was definitely not worth $8.99 - thrown together in China... A bit disappointing!

Good for small birds
The swing arrived in perfect shape - no assembly required. My cockatiel took to it right away and even started sleeping on it. He's a little chubby, about 3 oz, so for larger parrots, this product is probably too small. With the hooks you can position it up against the cage bars so it is immobile or hang it from the top of the cage if your bird enjoys a perch that can swing a bit.

Arrived broken
This should have a disclaimer saying that assembly is required! Mine arrived in four separate pieces that were floating around the box. It is almost as if they forgot to glue the pieces together. I ended up gluing it together myself and it works just fine now. It was complete unusable when it arrived, but is an ok product after fixing it.

Easy for Conures to chew on and destroy
This is not a good item for those who have birds that are aggressive chewers (Conures). My conure destroyed the perch in 2 days.

Great!
My finches took to this mirror right away and hang out on it a lot! As I type this one of them is sitting on it right now, haha. I love that it's natural wood instead of cheap plastic junk.

Great mirror.
Bought for our parakeet. Didn't realize how much of a "chewer" she is until we installed. She has picked pieces of other branch perches, but never expected she would attack this mirror's perch and have nothing to stand on within 24 hrs.She enjoys pecking at the birdie in the mirror so I must say the mirror and it's frame with hooks is great and constructed for safety.I would recommend owners of birds who like to grind and chew wood to skip this for the perch feature.
