A Great Kimchi
I've tried a lot of kimchis, and I even make my own. My homemade kimchi is better than any brand I've bought in a store...except this one. I like this even more than what I make. I don't care at all that it's gluten free, or vegan, or sugarless or any of that. All I care about is taste. In my book, this beats anything else hands-down. Sometimes I get a subtle finishing touch of umami. How they manage to get that, I wish I knew. Now, it is quite spicy, so if you're not into spicy this may not be your cup of tea. But authentic Korean food can be very spicy, so this product is authentic in that regard.

Huh? Just mild/non-spicy VEGAN pickled cabbage - nothing like "Korean Kimchi" (as labeled) AT ALL
Full disclosure - grabbed this product last-minute, to go into my own Kimchi Tuna Salad as the only kind found at a nearby Von's (normally Cosmos Kimchi, chopped boiled eggs, pouch tuna and mayonnaise: a big hit with everyone around here); was astonished to discover it's actually a poorly done Vegan substitute for every packaged Kimchi product I've ever tasted. Took hours to pile on enough fish/shrimp/mushroom umami flavored seasonings to get this bland lemony sauerkraut-with-a dash-of-sriracha-tasting soggy (like it was cooked/canned - not fermented) Napa cabbage glop to come close to my reliably quick & simple satisfying & vibrant kimchi tuna salad concoction. I'm sure it's possible to make tasty kimchi without the traditional fish sauce, hot chilis and shrimp paste base - but this one missed the mark so badly that I can't imagine why anyone would objectively identify the flavor or texture as "kimchi", or even what I expect something labeled "Korean" should taste like. To be fair, the jar I got could very possibly have been frozen/defrosted at this particular lousy supermarket (picked up similarly mishandled refrigerated products before; will never go there again!), and it could still pass for an inoffensive average-American taste-compatible pickle condiment, I suppose. At the very least it should be clearly labeled "VEGAN", which I wouldn't normally want anyway. All things considered, the stuff in that square jar sure ain't Kimchi.

Refrigeration yes plastic no
This is great Kimchi, I love the spicy ness and the flavor is great, this is actually one of the Kimchi on the market that is refrigerated, which is essential to keeping the probiotic alive, the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it’s in a plastic container, fermentation is best in glass

Korean condiment
This is a wonderful version of Kimchi. Taste great and the right size for my fridge. Thanks

Vinegar, salt and more vinegar.
should be called Vimchi, because it is so heavily vinegrated. Vinegar is the dominant flavor of this atrocious product. As far as I am concerned it is a vomitous insult to what Kimchi is supposed to be, and should be removed from market shelves immediately.

I'm korean and this doesn't taste anything like kimchi
Tastes nothing like Kimchi. It almost seems like this was made by someone who has never had Kimchi before. It has a super pungent vinegar smell and lacks any depth.

Good, but hard to find. Pricey on Amazon.
This is the most amazing kimchee Ive ever had. Unfortunately, it’s impossible to find in SWFL and I don’t recall ever paying so much for them???At earth origins I’m sure I paid less than $10. I would never pay $14.Despite it’s scarcity this kimchee is really, really good.

SAlT.... no good
Why is this $85 for 6? It’s $5.50 for ONE in the store. Total rip off. I’ve been eating Kimchee for 20 years. This is the saltiest I’ve ever had. Gross! Maybe if they took out 75% of the sodium it would be really good. I’ll never buy this again!
