Death by data table
Facts and figures, little by way of historical context and no personal perspectives. The book is full of data tables on units embarked on carriers at specific times. Reference work rather than enjoyable read. Some good colour photos but none of the beautiful illustrations that made his earlier Vietnam Air Wars a great book. Too dry for me.

Nice book but paper quality a big let down 😒☹️
Was looking forward to receiving the book. Yes full of information and pictures BUT I found the paper quality poor, made the pictures look grainy. Such a big let down , it’s an expensive book but looks like one of them cheap book reprint’s. Feel well let down. Save your money ,I feel ripped off for the money in paid. Just being honest

Disappointed with this purchase personally book quality and paper quality very sub-par for price

Liked colour photos, write up about ships planes Etc, a good ref book
