Amazing - Life Changing Addition to My Mom's Life
I bought this chair for my mom as soon as it was released earlier this year (2018).My mom is hemiplegic (paralyzed on her entire right side) and this chair dramatically increases her mobility and independence. She loves it. I love it.It's not covered by medicare (based on my research). and that may mean it's too expensive for many people - which is too bad, because it's so wonderful to use. The design of the front wheels is a stroke of genius and gives the chair a turning radius that is remarkably tight (my mom uses the chair inside her home every day and this chair can navigate through tight doorways and hallway turns easily). It's a beautiful designed device - so functional and it looks better than anything comparable (imo).Highly recommended!

Should be free for Medicaid users.
Should be free to those who have Medicaid. Expecting us to pay out of pocket for medically necessary wheelchair devices, is flat out wrong. Wish that we could show that we have Medicaid and proof online, and secure a chair. I can’t tell you how much out of pocket I have had to pay and I don’t work at 26 due to being permanently disabled. Other than that, Whiils are awesome products.

Great Wheelchair
Been using for a month now and the great thing about this is indoors it can maneuver around tight spots with ease. Although it comes apart for easy travel, we find it to heavy to take advantage of this. I find it confritable to sit in for few hours. The only thing I would say that took me time to adjust to was the front wheels move from side to side slightly when traveling down the road or sidewalk. It's not a big deal but at first I didn't like it.Overall I really enjoy this wheelchair.

Safe, Easy to Operate and Comfortable
Great wheelchair. Easy to operate and comfortable. I have had it a few months.I would use some others colors to make them stand out, such as the seat belt. I have forgotten to hook it and it has caught in the wheel and pulled me to that side. Also, the arm rests need padding. Too hard and uncomfortable.

Very cool
Not a fan of the back but I love it generally: especially the remote function and front wheels

Great Scooter but pricy
In the interest of full disclosure, I did not purchase this product, but I did rent one on a recent tripto Las Vegas about 2 months ago. I rented it for a period of seven days. I found that the WhillModel CI was the best mobility scooter I have ever used. For transport, the unit breaks downinto four pieces. The heaviest piece is about 30 lb. and all parts fit comfortably into a averageautomobile trunk. It easily assembles and disassembles in about 10 seconds. The battery life isvery good. On one occasion, I took it to the Vegas Strip and wrote it up and down for about 3hours. This depleted the battery only about 30% which you can view on an LED readout. Thebattery recharges in a few hours using a standard household electrical outlet. I also took theunit to an outdoor hiking trail and it was able to traverse the rough ground slowly, but withoutproblems. The control, located on the right armrest, is very sensitive so that you need to becareful how you go, stop and turn. It takes a little practice, but when mastered, the control isvery easy. The unit is extremely maneuverable; because of the innovative front wheel design, the unit can literally turn on a dime. There are four forward and reverse speeds numbered 1 to4. Each speed corresponds to miles per hour. For example, forward speed #2 is 2 miles perhour. There is an on-and-off button on the unit, but no key slot. Theft security is accomplishedwith a keyless fob which you can keep in your pocket or wear on a lanyard around your neck. Itworks exactly like the keyless start buttons on modern automobiles. The seat was comfortableand there was enough leg room for my 220-pound, 6’- 3” frame. I’m thinking of purchasing aModel CI, but the cost is daunting compared with conventional mobility scooters. Based on mylimited, 7-day trial, I will give it 5 stars
