It is very sturdy. I had to install the casters and did it easily. It is heavier than I thought it would be but it is easy to move around. Very happy with it.

I needed a filing cabinet. Didn't have a place for a 4 drawer but two 2 drawer filing cabinets I could fit in. Went looking on Amazon. When I saw this Devaise 2 drawer with wheels in white I was excited. The price was good, it had wheels, I could move it around and it was white, which I wanted. Perfect! Read the critical reviews about dents and scratches and faulty drawers. Wasn't sure if I'd get damaged goods. But I took a chance and bought one. If that was OK I'd get the second one. The first one came. No damage, very well protected in its packaging. Nothing wrong with it at all. Easy to attach the wheels. Drawers work fine. Ordered the second and all was fine as before. Maybe its not made of the thickest steel. But unless you're planning to beat it with a baseball bat, I think it will hold up very well. A good buy!

Pretty easy to put together and it holds a fair amount. I think it would be hard for the bottom to come out on carpet. Fortunately we have wood floors.

This is just a boring file cabinet and wasn't expecting anything more than a typical box. But, this boring box is well worth the cost. I normally never comment on shipment or packaging. This was the best packaged item that I have received in years. All corners are protected with hard flexible plastic bumpers. The sides are protected as well. It will be challenging for the worst trucking company to damage this during transit. The size is ideal to fit under my work surface, which is the ideal placement. This is a lightweight metal cabinet which is what I wanted and exactly what you get. If you want a heavy weight bulky cabinet look elsewhere and don't complain. The drawers pull all the way out so it's very easy to access files at the very back. I've never had a cabinet that was so easy to access. The bottom drawer does have an additional small wheel in the middle of the front drawer to aid in pulling it the drawer and providing stability. Very nice feature. Be aware that, with ANY two drawer file cabinet, if you only pull out the top drawer all the way that the cabinet will tip forward. If you place the cabinet under a work surface or place weights in the base this would reduce chance of tipping. I fully load the top drawer and know to hold the door if cabinet is out in the open. Not an issue, just be aware and use wisely. The lock secures both drawers - nice feature. What I also like about this drawer size is that it nowfunctions as a portable "bug-out" box. It's small enough and rolls so it'll be easy to carry all important papers in one box if we every need to leave due to an emergency situation. Since we now have this cabinet we'll probably never have such an emergency. Lastly, this file cabinet has a very clean modern look with no visible handles or knobs. The drawers have continuous edge grip on both sides which makes it very easy to open in any position? No regrets.

Needed a 2 drawer filing cabinet for my work from home office and this was perfect. It arrived on time and mostly assembled and in perfect condition. Had to bolt the wheels on. My files are letter size and the file folder hangers fit the drawers exactly. Highly recommend this product.

The filing cabinet came padded on all sides with Styrofoam, though the exterior box had a whole in it the cabinet arrived untouched. It is already assembled just attach the wheels. The lock works great, have tried it a couple of times, This is the closest you will come to commercial grade without paying several hundred dollars. The drawers are very smooth in operation and I expect that it will last a lifetime.

I emailed the company to see if I needed to use the "G" bar if I was only using letter size folders. They did email me back and said no I didn't have to use the "G" bar. The other thing that I was concerned about was putting the castors on the file cabinet. I am not able to get them screwed in. I think it is because I am not as strong as I used to be. I think it need a little more force than I can provide. I will call a handyman to help with this. Otherwise I am very happy with the product.

The cabinet looks nice, but the lock stops working once the drawers have anything in them, which is disappointing. The steel is thin and not very sturdy, making it feel less durable than expected. Not worth it.
