This is the cutest little toaster! It was a replacement for a B&D that served me well for 13 years. Was going to replace with another B&D but my local store didn’t have one I liked so I came to amazon. The reviews for this one were very good so I decided to give it a try. I love that it doesn’t take up a lot of counter space. I love the color! I was a bit concerned it wouldn’t fit into my decor but it looks great! I immediately opened the package when it came today and tried it out. They suggest you run it through a heating cycle before trying to toast anything, so I did. No issues. I then toasted some bread and it did a good job. No toaster I have ever owned toasted consistently perfect and this one didn’t either, but was good enough, no worse than any other I had and didn’t burn the toast. I haven’t used all the functions yet so I can’t speak to anything but toasting bread.It comes with the cover, which I like. It comes with the warming rack, which I am sure to use from time to time.The ONLY problem I noticed is the balance of the toaster, that it is a bit heavier on the control end so when you push the lever down to start the heating it tips a bit to that side. You should press it down slowly or use one hand to hold the opposite end down to keep it from tipping. Although the top got hot, it wasn’t scorching hot so it would be possible to hold the end when making multiple pieces of toast, but the heat could be an issue for some people. You might need a hot pad to do it.Hopefully in the future they will redesign with a counter-weight on the non-control end so it doesn’t need to be held down.Also the outside gets very warm, but not hot to the touch.

For the price, I absolutely love this toaster. It’s super cute and retro, easy to use and it’s the perfect size for my small apartment kitchen. One fallback is that you can’t push the toast up with the lever to grab it, once it’s done and it pops up it doesn’t go up any further. I just use a piece of silverware to grab it out. Another thing is that if you use it twice in a row on the same browning setting, the second time is a little darker because it’s already heated up. These are things I don’t care about, I just wanted a cute cheap reliable toaster and that’s what I got. I love it for me!

Absolutely love this toaster!!!!!...Love the vintage mint green color.This is the first toaster I've ever had, that actually toasted my bagels perfectly! What a great buy and wonderful product. Makes great toast in many varieties and my family just loves it. Never knew I could like a toaster so much! And also love the ideas of 2-Slice Stainless Steel Toasters with 2 Extra Wide Slots, Especially My kitchen is small but this fits perfectly. So all in all Good Quality and Great Price .

I had before small toaster, bought this one for only one reason good features and easy to control/usage. The design is sleek and modern and matching with my kitchen counter. The temperature setting is quite easy you can change it from 1-6 per your requirement. Another thing I like is defrost and reheat option. Which I did not have with my previous toaster..

Sadly, I am going to have to shop for another toaster after using this one for 2 weeks. It doesn't pop up and the"retrieve" option isn't helpful. Not sure if kids should be retrieving their toast with sharp objects. The intersting cover doesn't fit but just balances on top when stored. Each morning, we remind ourselves of cautiously reading the reviews before buying. Yes, it is "cute" and "retro" and the color is very nice and as stated, but proper toaster functionality can be found elsewhere.

Nice toaster. Love the toasting/warming rack option on it. The only issue we’ve found is that it doesn’t give you any spring after it’s done to get small slices of toast, English muffins, etc.. out. You have to take a fork (or your fingers) to pull them out. Normal to large slices are easy to get out.

Love the retro look. Does well on toasting bread but can't do bagels.

I'm not the type to keep things on my counter, but this toaster is so cute that you want it to stay out in the open. It toasts well, and the warmer plate is nice, too!
