I like the quality

UPDATE*********We want to update our review in case other families are into action figures and considering this one. After more than half a year making sets and dioramas with this action figure using NINE different head sculpts, we've determined no one seems to be making head sculpts proportional to this body. As a result, no matter the uniform you use (military, super-hero, your own design...), the figure looks like you stuck the head of a child on the body of an adult. It's disconcerting.Just as bad, every outfit we've found for it has had to be specially made at over $100 a pop. Just try emailing 12-inch figure sales teams to see if they carry stuff for the M36. Most don't and the few that do, you probably won't like the look (even if you stretch clothes width-wise, it's almost impossible to stretch them length-wise enough to fit the much longer legs and arms...). We can get around the lack of clothing issue (design our own). But we can't get around the standard head-sculpts built for smaller "12 inch" bodies. So sadly, we no longer use our Phicen M36A. We took away 1-star from our original 5-star rating because while the action figure itself is great, it's useless without a head. And we refuse to keep spending more on clothes for an action figure than we do on our own kids.ORIGINAL REVIEW*********Our family recently got into historic scene setting with action figures. This particular brand and model is by far our favorite. You have to treat these with more care than you do traditional hard plastic figures, but the realism is uncanny. We've converted a spare room in our house to rotating historic scenes and these make all the effort put into research, graphic design, and production worth it.There are only two caveats we'd offer: 1)It's hard to find clothes, let alone historically accurate ones, to fit these bulkier bodies. We have to deal with specialty stores abroad and the products are significantly more costly. And the figure doesn't ship with any clothes so... 2) Standard head sculpts look comically small on this larger body. Again, we haven't found a single seller anywhere offering proportional head sculpts. So we'll either have to design/3D print our own or contract to have it designed/built for us. But for our family hobby, these hassles are worth it.Finally, a company is making action figures that don't look like children's toys.

The body is not too skinny. Looks good. Very tall.

Figure is falling apart. It’s only a few months old. It was well taken care of, in the end it didn’t matter.

This M36 body is the 2nd in my Phicen collection. The body is tall ( which I knew) but my head sculpts seem to be a bit out of proportion to the body. I still love it and clothing makes the proportion not so noticeable.It is a nice athletic body.

Must have

I was a bit worried when I ordered this body. It is the lean Phicen body. This was my first time buying the lean body. All of my others have a bit more muscle. I knew I was getting an older gentleman face sculpt and head mold so I didn't want him to be thickly muscled. I knew I wanted him to have a leaner body and I think it worked out fabulously. The open hands that come with this body seem big but I love the fully open hand and splayed fingers. for this particular head to fit I had to get an insert neck adapter that fits Phicen and remove the one it came with which was a bit small.

This body is great for building 1/6 scale figures that are supposed to be extra tall such as NBA basketball player figures. Think of NBA Foward position tall compared to other 1/6 scale figures. You may need to have a custom head sculpt to properly be sized for this figure but try using a blow dryer if the peg of the headsculpt your are trying to use doesn't quite fit. It has great articulations like most TBleague/phicen figures and the texture is great.
