Perfect for sweet tea and unsweetened tea lovers alike
Tejava Iced Tea is a big hit in my household with both my family and our friends. The 16.9 ounce bottles are the perfect serving size (way better than the little bottles you find in the grocery store). Most of my family like there tea as is, unsweetened, but I prefer sweet tea. With these bottles we can all be happy. There's plenty of taste great, ready to go, unsweetened tea on hand for them and when I get a sweet tea craving and don't have time to mix up a batch, these bottles are large enough for we to pour out some tea, add some liquid sugar, and have a quick sweet tea fix (without wasting a ton of tea). I only wish that the 16.9 ounce bottles were glass instead of plastic as glass is more eco friendly, nicer to drink out of, and one of the things that first attracted me to Tejava.I've been buying these regularly for the last few months (several cases at a time). While Amazon has a tendency to over pack the boxes (so they're too heavy) or pack them in too large of a box so the tea bottles get jostled around and the top plastic on the cases rips, none of the bottles have ever been damaged, they've always arrived on time (or early), and they've always been in stock when I needed them - plus the convenience of home delivery can't be beat!

If You Consider Yourself A Tea Purest, Go Ahead. Otherwise, Save Your Money And Buy Pure Leaf Also From Amazon.
I must not be a black iced tea purest. Although I do like "upscale" hot tea for breakfast. I thought this tea tasted very bitter. Frankly, it was awful. I saw the prices here which were insane but found a couple of bottles at my local CVS Pharmacy (a nationwide seller of this product) for about $1.32 for an 18 oz. bottle. I'll stick to my favorite unsweetened bottled ice tea, Pure Leaf, (which is available here at Amazon,) with a few drops of pure Stevia (also available here at Amazon, ) and I have the best tasting tea around. I'm from the South. We drink more ice tea than water.

Excellent Tea With Nothing Added.
Tejava Unsweetened Black Tea (24x16.9 OZ), by Tejava. This tea is excellent, with nothing added, no sweeteners, no preservatives. This is Java tea. The 16.9 ounce bottle is made of PET plastic, not the glass bottle shown on The Amazon catalog website. The Amazon product description, and the Tejava web site, also list it as a black tea. It is nice to find bottled tea without flavorings, preservatives, sugar, fructose, or artificial sweeteners. This is great for people like me who are pre-diabetic, and have to avoid sugar. This tea is very strong, and would be best served either over ice or in half a glass of cold water to thin it out a bit.The amount of acidity could cause a stomach ache in anyone prone to acid stomach problems. (It happened to me. Time for the Rolaids tablets.) The label mentioned some awards: "NORTH AMERICAN TEA CHAMPION 2011, 2012, 2013, FIRST PLACE 3 YEARS IN A ROW", but did not mention what organization did the judging. I gave this tea four stars for the tea and the fact that it was sold in plastic bottles rather than the breakable glass the company uses for its other bottle sizes. The tejava.com website said:"The North American Tea Championship is an independent event, judged by professional cuppers, to distinguish the highest quality and best tasting teas from around the world that are available in the North American marketplace. The annual Championship is made up of two classes: Hot Tea and Iced Tea. The Iced Tea Class was evaluated in May. Nearly 250 premium iced teas were entered into this year's Iced Tea class, which featured 20 categories. Each submission is evaluated through blind organoleptic analysis of the following characteristics: flavor, mouthfeel, color, clarity, and balance. An overall numerical value is then calculated based on the ratings of each characteristic above, and winners are determined by rank. The Tejava Difference.Tejava is the world's only 100% all natural, microbrewed and ready-to-drink iced tea made entirely from select, handpicked tea leaves from the island of Java. For the best tasting tea, only the top few leaves from each branch are picked - and only from May through October, the optimum harvesting months.Tejava's unique microbrewing process eliminates bitterness and yields a rich, distinctive, full-bodied taste. Unsweetened and calorie free, Tejava is made with no added tea flavors, sweeteners, preservatives, or artificial ingredients. Tejava is simply pure and refreshing black tea."The Nutrition Facts and INGREDIENTS, as listed on the Tejava.com website:Nutrition Facts: Serving Size: 12 fluid oz (355ml).Amount Per Serving:Calories 0Total Fat 0gTotal Carb. 0g (Sugars 0g)Protein 0gNot a significant source of calories from fat, saturated fat, trans fat, cholesterol, dietary fiber, vitamin A, calcium, or iron.INGREDIENTS: Pure Java Tea brewed from water and select Java tea leaves.Ships from and sold by The A2Z Emporium.© CRYSTAL GEYSER WATER COMPANY, CALISTOGA, CA 94515; Phone: 1.800.4.GEYSER; Web: tejava.com.

Best unsweetened Tea EVER
I have to say, I almost can't believe Tejava doesn't put SOMETHING in this tea. It's not sweetened - with sugar or anything artificial - but it has a great taste to it. If you've ever had Liptons unsweetened, you might be hesitant to try this. In my opinion, Liptons has a very bitter taste, and a very acidic aftertaste. Teejava does not have that nasty bite and is much more smooth, with no bad aftertaste. It actually has a flavor to it that is similar to a high-end golden tea I got from China. It lacks the bitterness of most mass-produced "American" teas and has the mellow qualities of better teas like Tazo, to name one that's popular and available here. And the best part is, it's ready to go without having to brew it. So if you want convenience you don't have to chose between over-the-top sweetness or acrid bitterness. You can choose Tejava, and have a GOOD unsweetened iced tea.

TEJAVA
I LOVE TEJAVA (it's an excellent tea with a nice blend- not too strong but nice caffine without the jitters) but BUYERS BEWARE----the shipping is handled awful- when I rec'd my Tejava all bottles were mostly crushed and some were even leaking- so even tho it came quickly- the shipper cheesed out and only put paper in the box- so bottles weren't protected. For 25.00 or 1.99 a bottle ...REALLY? Disappointed in that. that's why I gave it a low rating- r/t the shipping not the product itself- that's a 5 star product.UPDATE ON ITEM: I JUST SPOKE WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE @ AMAZON- and they are sending me another order of my TRJAVA- awesome customer service! Its why I shop AMAZON! Thanks Amazon!

Best Bottled Tea on the Planet
It's difficult to find unsweetened, unflavored bottled iced tea. The ones you do find generally have an artificial taste, often caused by acidic preservatives. This tea is a welcome departure from the typical bottled tea. The taste is brilliant - pure, refreshing, not bitter, earthy (in a good way). There are no additives (artificial or natural) that destroy the taste you're looking for - pure, unsweetened iced tea. I brew my own tea at home, and I can't seem to get a taste as good as this one. Simply put, I think this is the best unsweetened tea you'll find...
