Quality
I was very skeptical when ordering this as I am with most tool related products, the packaging was above and beyond to ensure none of the glass or porcelain cups came in broke. I was also shocked on the durability of kit as I was welding aluminum at 195 to 210 range for extended periods of time with no issues or problems. As far as the gas lenses go I weld a lot of stainless and can barely tell the difference between Miller and what arrived in the kit, great gas coverage to keep from turning it black/grey color if you weld hot and fast. My only complaint would be that it doesn’t come with some kind of case to keep everything together so if you’re just starting off you might want to invest in one.Would definitely buy it again!

You get what you pay for
A few things to note, The o-ring on the back cap sticks out too far, and gets pinched when you try to screw it in place, and the electrode is off center in my gas lens kit. gas flows a different direction than where the tungsten points, I fear this might affect gas coverage at the weld site. I like the visibility the glass cups offer. This is a good kit for basic home diy and practicing fundamentals. It’s a lot better than nothing, but I will be upgrading soon.

It does fit
If you have a CK-17 torch the heat shield (white cap) does in fact fit, but it’s very tight. You need to heat up the heat shield cap with a heat gun or place in hot water like another reviewer stated. Once you get it nice and hot just press it on.

Worth it!
Everything fit and worked well. Much cheaper than some of these big name brands.

Clear cups are nice
Disclaimer: I am VERY new to TIG welding. I bought this to try out the Pyrex (clear) cups and stubby collet assembly. Everything was packed well in the box and arrived quickly. I am using a CK 17 torch. There were no instructions and this was the first time I was using either the stubby or the clear glass. It all went together about like you would expect. The most stubborn part was removing the existing (what I believe is called the) "back cup." (The white ring at the hot TIG end of the torch.) It was difficult to get off and I couldn't get the new one, (needed for the clear cup) on. Finally, put the new "back cup" in hot water for a couple of minutes and pushed it on. Wetting the O-ring helps getting on the clear cup, which just pushes on over the O-ring. It gives me a much clearer view of the arc. I like it, and suited me perfectly.
