ProRockGear Piano Benches (RGEPB55)

Could not find any weight limits for this bench prior to purchase and since no printed materials came the bench, I still cannot tell you. I weigh 250 and it held me easily for the short time I was sitting on it. I did not buy it for myself but for my spouse who needed a bench with a 19.5 inch height (crucial to preventing compensating muscle strain).Bench came nicely packaged to protect surfaces, and included a throw-away wrench (I used a 17mm socket instead). The bolts, washers, and nuts that secure the legs are pretty substantial and are inset firmly into the legs. Brackets for the legs inside the body have four screws each.I cannot tell you what kind of wood is used since the wood is almost entirely covered with some kind of lacquer like, shiny coating that seems rather durable (possibly some kind of polyurethane coating). This is quite attractive. There are felt pads on the bottom of each leg.The seat material is unknown but seems durable. In fact, the entire bench speaks to a manufacturing quality which is unusual for Chinese made items. IMO, a rather nice bench for the price.The only thing that gave me pause was the nylon strap that secures the seat in an upright position when accessing the interior storage area. The strap is strong and secured with screws. After a while, you realize the strap is just fine.
